Take photos of before and after of the seafood that you ordered. We specifically chose crab with roe but the roe didn't come. Maybe it was switched with other crabs during the cooking process. Cooking takes average of 30 minutes, prepare to wait. Everything was slow. The drinks, the cutlery, the cooking. "Masak butter" lobster was a waste of money. They deep-fried the expensive lobster, practically wasted the lobster head. Whole thing cost 175 ringgit (2 squid/calamari 25 ringgit, 2 crabs 60 ringgit, one small lobster 90 ringgit). The weighing scale is questionable. Tissue was not provided at all. They stole our crab roe, saying "we thought you didn't want the roe". I told her we chose the crabs because of the roe. Verdict: Not recommended at all.

There are a lot of stalls around so choose wisely. Personally I won’t be buying already cooked seafood as it will taste not as good. For tourist it can be a daunting task to choose a good one. Don’t be reluctant to ask for the price first. I heard some unscrupulous trader giving higher price to tourist. I would suggest for you to order 1. Ikan pogot (as per photo) some kind of triggerfish. (RM15-30 depending on the size). West malaysian call it ikan ayam or ikan jebong in terengganu. Just a simple grill will do. 2. Latok (seaweed) The food there can be cheap if you choose wisely.

Worst experience ever! Started from nego price to Food! OVERPRICED! bought prawn and stingrays only because they seems to rush us when we trying to nego the price. Food came to table and we were shocked at the stingray!! It were tough and poorly cooked. They replied its different type of Stingray and the meat meant to be tough?????? i mean its almost not edible at all!! Worst food ever! Asked f9r a fried rice, never came after 2 hrs. Poor service, Poor food and Poor taste! NEVER GO!
