再三杯 Zai San Bei Restaurant & Bar @ UPR Georgetown — Restaurant in George Town

It’s actually a place with full of memories when I was teenager 🤣 due to I’m not living here for long time and I’m actually happy to come back to visit this area, but unfortunately….one of the Chinese guys and a pregnant pretty ladies was so helpful,they try to helpful… but there is a management problem I think, I think kitchen is perfect they try to serve all the food on time. The disappointed part is I’m here since 7pm, I try don’t to book a table even Saturday cause actually there is lots choice 🤣maybe I’m not younger and look just normal, so I don’t mind just sitting outside and enjoy the Malaysia heat with two air condition with me😎don’t envy anyway…. But the staff really need to be train proper. I do understand there is busy, but is wanna the business go farther, this part need to be improve! And I ask for the table inside even I didn’t book and come here from7 until now nearly 12, but the sad thing for me is they try to arrange the younger people get in for live band and enjoy the nice air conditioning in Malaysia but not me 😭sorry maybe I’m too old here…. But be sincere everything is fine, especially kitchen stuff did 👏 fees of out crew done great as well, but there still need to improve like for example I request a chair they give me a rice even I try explain Malay and Chinese hokkien….. maybe I have to improve my language level anyway… I’m sorryyyy… Just important thing for everyone… whenever u request drink make sure u recognise the person, cause u might wait more than half an hours and your drink wasn’t come🤣 as I joke with the stuff maybe I need to pronounce black shop here so I need to wear a black dress and I just can go inside enjoy the live band! I’ve been here a few times and have always loved the atmosphere and the food, but my recent experience was disappointing. A few visits ago, I sat in the first row near the stage, so this time I made a reservation two weeks in advance specifically requesting a seat away from the first row. They confirmed they would accommodate my request, but when I arrived today, I was seated in the first row anyway. The staff told me seating was assigned randomly, which made me question the purpose of the request and confirmation.

While we accepted the seating arrangement and continued to enjoy our meal and the environment, the experience soured towards the end. As we neared the end of our meal, the staff quickly began clearing our table, almost as if they were rushing us to leave. The situation became even more uncomfortable when a staff member, a heavier guy with glasses, kept standing next to our table. It felt like he was pressuring us to leave, and I hoped I was misinterpreting his actions. However, when my family and I stood up to leave, I saw him clap and heard him say, “They leave!” – which was completely unprofessional and rude.

It seemed like we were treated differently than other tables, possibly because our bill was only around RM200-300. This wasn’t the case on previous visits, so I’m really confused and disappointed. I even ordered beer, but still felt like we weren’t valued. This experience has left me feeling disrespected, and it’s truly sad because I used to enjoy...

Been to this place several times, as usual no booking you are not allowed to seat inside, that's their rules. For management site, I would suggest "reserved table" should hold for only 30mins unless you have reach the customers and claimed that they will arrive soon otherwise is unfair to those new walk-ins. Unless you just let us know you are only welcome regular customers, save everyone's time for the God's sake. Last Friday was my recent visits, food was not good as I ordered before. Probably I order the wrong food, because the menu has plenty of food, I always try different food per visits. But the lalapot is good 👍. Bad experience was, i didn't know that it is a smoking area indoor, this is really OMG. The past visits I understand they accepted electronic cigarette, but I really didn't know that they accepted all cigarettes this time. I am the non smokers, and I saw there are kids indoor too, and is smoking indoor allowed by government laws by the way? It's not only one table, there are 3 tables, and they are not secretly smoke, all the incharged persons aware of that . I wonder. I really want to know the answer if this place is the smoking place, please let me know, I respect it, at least I know this is not my place anymore. Lastly, I was shocked too when the staff cleaning our table when we are leaving asking tips out of sudden.
