I recently had the pleasure of eating at Kedai Nasi Kandar Sup Hameed in Jalan Penang, and I must say, it was a culinary experience to remember. From the moment I stepped into this charming shop, the delightful aromas wafting from the kitchen set the stage for a mouthwatering adventure.

One of the standout dishes that caught my attention was their goat soup tongue and bone. The rich, tender meat combined with the robust flavors of the soup created a harmonious blend that left my taste buds dancing with joy. Pairing it with freshly baked bread added an extra layer of satisfaction.

The nasi lemak offered at this shop was another highlight. The fragrant rice, complemented by a medley of spices and accompanied by an array of side dishes, was a symphony of flavors on the palate. Each bite was a journey through the vibrant culinary heritage of Malaysia.

When it came to Nasi Kandar, Sup Hameed did not disappoint. Their mixed curry, brimming with aromatic spices and expertly cooked meat, was a delightful companion to the perfectly cooked lady finger. The combination was nothing short of heavenly, and I found myself savoring every bite.

Beyond the delectable dishes, the service at Kedai Nasi Kandar Sup Hameed was warm and welcoming. The staff members were attentive, ensuring that every need was met and providing recommendations with genuine enthusiasm.

If you're looking for an authentic and flavorsome meal in Jalan Penang, Kedai Nasi Kandar Sup Hameed is a must-visit shop. Whether you indulge in their goat soup tongue and bone, savor their delightful nasi lemak, or enjoy the flavorsome Nasi Kandar, your taste buds will thank you for...

Stepping into Sup Hameed at No. 48, Jalan Penang, George Town, Penang, on New Year’s Eve was an immersion into a realm of tantalizing flavors and warm hospitality. The anticipation for a delightful meal was met with a bustling shop, echoing the establishment’s popularity.

Amidst the lively atmosphere and the crowded restaurant, the aroma of flavorful sup, the specialty of the house, greeted us. While the shop was consistently full, the wait was a testament to the undeniable taste and the warm, welcoming service that draws patrons in droves.

The highlight undoubtedly was the sup, delivering a harmonious blend of rich flavors that perfectly captured the essence of this local delicacy. Each spoonful unveiled a symphony of tastes, making the wait worthwhile. The savory broth, accompanied by tender meat and the aromatic spices, was a true delight to the taste buds.

Patience became a virtue in this vibrant eatery, where the staff’s dedication to their craft and the consistently excellent taste of their signature dish showcased why Sup Hameed is a beloved culinary gem in Penang. The convivial ambiance, bustling yet welcoming, added to the overall charm of the experience.

Sup Hameed remains a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic taste of local cuisine, coupled with a genuine dose of Penang’s culinary culture. However, it’s wise to anticipate a crowd and a slight wait due to its well-deserved popularity.

Easy to find via Google Maps ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sitting: difficult to find during peak hour No star

Menu: typical kedai mamak menu, roti canai, nan, nasi kandar, mee goreng, supposedly good with the soup ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Taste: utmost disappointing, my take of the menu;

viral soup wasn't as good as i could remember 5-6years ago, the soup appeared thick, but "umpph" effect, honestly it felt like just add plain water to the soup, don't know, for me not worth 300-400km for it

Nasi lemak daun pisang was an embarrassment, but for a rm1.70, don't know, nasi wasn't fresh, ikan bilis was a let down, too old, not crunchy, too salty, and the sambal, we can call it a salty oil paste, -not recommend to eat-

Burger stall just besides the joint, superbly expensive for a ramly burger, ok la i ordered special, the patty typically ramly meat, added with nice hint of pepper, grill on the outside, nothing worth praise, The eggs was not season, no taste, combine with the patty, it was a let down The bun are soggy, overly laid with tasteless cheap sos, i had to ate them separately, left out the bun, in order to be "eatable" -not recommend to eat-

Hyagine: we sat on the side of the road, dirty but OK la to sit down and eat, ⭐

Experience: disappointed, tired and a let down Price range: burger wise m40, but i do not recommend to eat, soup...
