Overhyped and Overpriced

RM14.90 for a small cup of hot latte feels steep, especially in a café that appears hastily put together with cheap furnishing & decor—think primary school-level paper art crafts displays. The white furnishings are worn and give off a budget feel, making the space lack the cozy, curated vibe you'd expect at that price point.

To be fair, the coffee itself tastes good, but it doesn't justify the cost. For the same price—or less—you can get a larger cup at Starbucks, or enjoy a much more inviting atmosphere at one of the many boutique cafés around Penang.

I also tried their tart pastry. The crust was nicely flaky and buttery, but the custard filling was a bit too dense.

My biggest gripe is definitely the ambience. It just doesn't deliver the comfort or aesthetic you'd expect for a café in this...

2nd visit : Tried their dessert this time but quite disappointing. They charged at a patisserie standard, but the quality & taste is not up to par. Signature coffee is still as good. Tried minty coconut latte & it's very cooling & refreshing. 1st visit : Loved the vibe of this place. Price is ok for me, but staff not so friendly. Once i come in ofc i want to order but no one takes my order even i stand infront cashier for almost 10 min & the staff already see me but ignore me & my friend. until one of yr staff friend ask if me want to order. Only then yr staff taking my order & ask if i want to order. Ofc la i want to order bcs i just literally come in from outside. & she just making the face. Customer not very crowded at the time.
