This is a make shift stall located by the road side. Sometimes, traffic can be heavy. Not many seatings. All are under huge umbrellas. It does provide sink and diluted hand soap to wash your hands. If you're not particular those kind of place, then go ahead. I think they maintained the place okay. They served capati, roti jala and briyani. Together with numerous dishes. I used to patronised here many years ago. This time, I had roti jala with curry chicken. The pancakes are large, soft and tasted fine. You get 3 pieces of roti. I think the have reduced the size and gave extra pieces. The curry chicken was good. Not spicy, gravy not thick, well cooked and the chicken piece is acceptable size. The ginger tea was good. Service was quick. You may accounter staff who are shy to speak bahasa melayu. But, the boss is okay. I will visit the place again to try other menus. Price quite steep for local Penangites, but for outstation visitors should be okay. Not the best place, but there is no...

NB: Google maps says they open at 2. Their sign says 1:30. However I got there at 2:15, and they were still setting up tables. The curry and biryani was ready to start selling, but the guy who makes the roti wasn't there yet. I was told to come back after 2:30. When I returned, I had mutton curry and roti jala. It was very tasty, although the mutton curry had lots of small splinters of bone in it that I had to keep spitting out, so not really suitable for children. But i...

Nothing special Now a days food business is very competitive with a lot of choice. I prefer Arabic food mushrooming in Penang in a cosy ambience. This stall is situated by the road side not a pleasant site dusty and in hygenic.Used to go there before now a days no more I got better option elsewhere. After all it's your money your choice. Arrogant...

We came in as a group of 8 tourists and one of us asked for cutlery while we could see the whole store's patrons eating with their hands and the whole store laughed at us. (Before of course serving cutlery anyway) Best moment ever. I ordered a chicken briyani and it was awesome! Very flavourful. A really memorable experience overall.
