Bagel's Dream — Restaurant in George Town

Unfortunately didn't have a good experience. I got the smoked salmon bagel with cream cheese. It originally comes with caper cream cheese. I don't like capers so I opted for plain cream cheese. It also came with lettuce and tomato and I opted for those to be on the side.

My issue is that they use cream cheese like butter so you don't taste the cream cheese at all. So I asked for more cream cheese and literally stated it's on here like butter. They stated it's on there already and basically it's on there so the sandwich isn't dry.

Then one of the ladies brings me caper cream cheese and as expected I didn't like it as I don't like capers.

So basically, I didn't get the extra cream cheese I wanted but caper cream cheese to try as it is one of their homemade cream cheeses.

Honestly my whole experience would have been improved if I just was given extra plain cream cheese. Also to note, the smoke salmon was very good. They dont skimp on the salmon but unfortunately skimp on the cream cheese. Just call it a smoke salmon bagel and dont mention the cream cheese. Bagel lovers must try the bagels here. They are naturally fermented, oil-free and low-sugar, and you won’t feel guilty if you eat more haha The slightly sour and elastic bread body, the more you chew, the more delicious it is Btw, but the feeling of fullness is really strong. Am I a girl with a big appetite? I went there in the afternoon. I ordered three types and ate half of each. I felt full before going to bed.

The best seller should be taro mashed meat floss bagel-Taro Date～I will try it too There are mashed yam, meat floss, cream cheese and eggs. Their mashed yam is not covered by milky taste like others. You can really taste the pure taro aroma!

There are two stores. I went to the new store. The simple ins decoration is very good! as well as! The second floor is pet-friendly! You can bring your fur kids to visit the store...

Great ambiance, very chill environment. A great place to have a bagel and chill/work at in the afternoon. They have a great selections of cream cheeses. All bagels that they offered are baked in house, you may even have a glimpse of the bagels being made as their kitchen have a transparent window for you to enjoy the baking process with the bakers. Other than their "Back-to-Basic" aka Everything Bagel, Poppy Seed & Mixed Sesame, they also have different rotating flavours. (follow their Instagram to know what flavours they're having that week) The staffs here are friendly and have shown great hospitality. I would recommend their Everything Bagel with Garlic and Herbs cream cheese. If you're feeling adventurous and would like to try something special, I do recommend you to order their Avopes Chicken. Feel free to bring to pets with you to Bagel's Dream as they're also a pet-friendly cafe.
