I recently visited this establishment, and I must say that the place is impressively large and quite aesthetically pleasing with its interior design. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff and promptly seated. However, the experience took a downturn from there.

A live band was playing, which was enjoyable, but the volume was so high that it made it difficult to hear the waitress when she came to clean our table and hand us the menus. Despite waiting for 20 minutes, no one came to take our order, and the staff seemed to avoid eye contact, making it hard to get their attention. Eventually, I had to raise my hand to catch their notice, only to be informed that we needed to place our order directly at the cashier. This process felt quite inconvenient and chaotic, especially if one were to visit with a larger group.

I would highly recommend implementing a QR code system for ordering, which would be much more efficient and user-friendly. Additionally, the requirement to pay immediately after placing the order at the cashier added to the inconvenience.

The seating arrangement was also less than ideal, as the tables were quite close to each other, making it feel crowded and uncomfortable. On a positive note, the waiting time for the food was reasonable, and the taste was just okay—nothing exceptional, but not bad either. The prices were fair and acceptable.

Perfect choice to hang with families and buddies or even meet up client for dinner as the owner of Higher Ground is super thoughtful to split it into 3areas 1.Cozy privacy dine in area 2. Garden was for the highly talented Live Bands for buddies to hang out have a few beers and chill out. 3. On top outside the garden is the Mezzanine floor specially made for the lover birds to have dinner or drinks with stars & moon above them. I ordered grilled salmon with beetroot and the salmon was very juicy and grilled to perfection and this isnt an easy task with the crowd on Saturday nite. The place was full and alive and Penang hasnt been so happening for a long long time. Service was excellent fast and efficient although the place was fully packed to the sky. Highly recommend for any age anyone who wants a great nite out and value for money so wait no more make your reservation now. One more thing the menu for inside table dining is different from the outside garden live band areas and you get to to taste the best of both worlds💯👍🏿👍🏿.
