Huong Vi Viet — Restaurant in George Town

The atmosphere is 4 stars but I want this restaurant to get 5 star rating so I rated all 5 stars, because this restaurant really deserves more customers and more 5 stars review! We came here to eat on a rainy night and ran out of choices due to late hour. We weren't quite sure about our decision to eat here but as I am a Vietnamese food fan I decided to give it a try. The uncle boss is such a friendly person, so genuine and sincere. He introduced us the good food on the menu with warmth and sincerity. He also customised food for us according to our preferences. We ordered beef soups and a pancake like dish. Upon serving the food was looking very normal. But omg when we placed the food in our mouth, the flavour and the taste bursting and really impressed me and my partner. Even in Vietnam I never get to eat such delicious Vietnamese food! Came back to Malaysia, can't find any better. The prices are so reasonable, the restaurant is little but clean and with aircon, comfortable and such a hearty meal, the restaurant closed late because of us, as we are their last customers. I feel bad about it and my partner tipped the boss for such an unexpected, tasty dinner on a rainy night, with a very welcoming vibe from the boss. Had a delightful and satisfied experience, catered almost each member of my family unique needs, the shop is located in a quiet and laid-back street though surprisingly low traffic road usage during peak hour, was easy to find parking for me, humble and friendly host, the kitchen prep was mostly Vietnamese individuals, so the taste of the food resembled authentic Vietnamese food, the ingredients are fresh and good, and tasty,the Vietnamese coffee ☕ really matches the one I had in Vietnam, the banh mi is crispy and reminds me of the one I had in Vietnam too, the closest experience of authentic Vietnamese food that you can experience in Malaysia without setting foot in Vietnam itself, price was very much affordable compared to other Vietnamese shop in Georgetown and servings was bigger...
