This traditional ' Kopi Tiam' has been around for quite a long time, with some stalls selling Hawker Fares but not many people know that it is a great place serving toasted bread and your morning coffee to start the day. Serves14 breakfast items for you to choose from. It deserves some recognition. The Moving Egg on bread is a very popular item which is called ' Goyang Telur at Malay stalls. For a set, you get two half boiled eggs on 2 toasted bread and a cup of coffee or tea to go with the delicacy. Add a dash of pepper and sprinkle a little soya sauce and you get an awesome taste. Even an American Breakfast will only cost you Rm 3.70. The owner, Micah, is a friendly guy who would greet you loudly ' Good Morning, Uncle nd Aunty' the moment you step into the coffee shop. Penangites are lucky that they can enjoy their hawker fares wherever you are. So, if you are in the vicinity of the centry financial centre of Penang, drop in at this place to have a plate of Char Koay Teow, fried by a plesant lady who serves pretty good stuff at Rm 5 with egg and Rm 4.50 without egg. The Koay Teow Th'ng is very popular with office workers in that area. The soup and dry ones are good and affordable. There are still good and hawker food around if you know where they are. Tag some one to go there and your feedback Is much appreciated. Bon Appetit There are some photos which are not about this Kopi Tiam. Somebody must have...
Read moreCame here for breakfast. Tried the wantan mee, hokkien mee and also the yam cake. Wantan mee is decent. Noodle consistency is nice, quite springy. The wanton dumplings have skin to meat ratio. I was surprised that it was only sold at rm5 for a small plate. So inexpensive. Hokkien mee is okay. I didn't quite like that it came with the processed fish/squid ball. The texture wasn't very good. Otherwise the rest was quite okay. There's an auntie selling economy fried noodles, the fried stuffs were already cold. And the yam cake was not soft enough. The chilly which comes with the yam cake wasn't good as well.

Read moreWe stopped here for lunch during our guided tour and were not impressived. Food dishes were placed on the table for everyone to share but some helped themselves to a lot more than a single serving. Leaving not enough for others eat. They didn't server us any extra dishes to those who did not get to taste them. Poor choice of place to stop and eat by the tour bus. We had much better luncheons on other tours. The shopping mall outside the restaurant was better and the food looked much...
