Our first visit after her shift from down the road. Expanded to two shop lots now with upgraded design & decoration. Also more waitresses to serve you!

From the long menu list, we chose the Deep Fried Tilapia Fish Fillet w Crispy Noodle and Dried Scallop & Minced Pork Porridge w "Zha Leong" & Chicken Floss. Roselle Beet Root and Barley w Pumpkin for drinks. The taste is maintained as before, simply delicious!!! The porridge is very fine/smooth contrast by the crispy zha leong & the sweet floss will make you yearn for more. As for the noodle dish, the fish is well fried & noodles very crispy. The egg makes the gravy very smooth.

The prices is on the high side as there is a 10% service charge. I suggest you drive straight to the car park at Kampong Malabar then walk through the back lane to L Kitchen.

17 Oct 2023 (3 weeks later) Tried 1. Dried scallop & minced pork porridge with century egg, 2. Mixed mushroom fried rice, 3. Deep fried tilapia fish, fish milk soup, thick Bihun, 4. Thai style salad sauce with homemade bean curd.

The porridge had little ingredients but was very fine & soft. My aged brother loved it. The fried rice was oily. Not for me! The milk soup Bihun was very delicious. The bean curd was very soft, blended well with the pickled salad. We loved it.

17 July 2024 (9 months later) We had dinner this time. Restaurant was packed though on a weekday! Food was delicious. Worth the wait. Our choice were Indian Style Curry Dragon Grouper fish fillet, Deep fried crispy chicken with red fermented bean curd, Thai Style salad with homemade bean curd, Lotus Root with mixed veggie. All these dishes ate with Thai fragrant plain rice to enjoy the dishes flavour. Another meal that reminded us to...

We reached this airconditional restaurant on weekdays at about 6:30pm. There were very limited parking spaces at the roadside and therefore we parked our car at the paid private car park at the next street with walking distance 5 minutes.

Upon arrival, almost all the tables were occupied. We got a table within 5 minutes. Table service ordering and payment after meal at the counter. Food was served within 10 minutes upon ordering.

Braised roasted pork with preserved mustard cabbages at RM20.80 was outstanding. The steamed rice was excellent. The preserved mustard and roasted pork were a great appetite boaster. 3 stars

Steamed dragon tiger grouper fish fillet with horfun in sticky sauce was mediocre. The fish didn't taste fresh. The sauce and hirfun were not tasty enough and, in fact, rather plain. RM20.80 per serving. 2 stars

Lychee with 2 types of jelly and butterfly pea flower sago was delicious, but it was different from the photo. It was sweet but not too sweet. RM12 per serving for a wonderful sweet ending was great. 3 stars

Stir-fried spinach was mediocre. RM16 per small serving was overpriced as no extra ingredients involved. 2 stars

The ambience was too noisy and not recommended if you were going for relax dinner.

2 persons simple dinner with price tag about RM80 was too pricey. Good if coming for...

Chinese Malaysian & Haka food (Non Halal): 🔷 Indian Curry Prawn & Vegetables 🔷 Steamed Grouper with Tuapan (big flat rice noodle) in Soya sauce 🔷 Meicaikourou on Rice (Braised Roast Pork with Preserved Mustard) 🔷 Teow Chiew Sour Soup w/ Grouper 🔷 Scallop & Pork Porridge w/ Pork Floss and Youtiaw 🔷 Seafood Fried Rice with Bilis and Salted Egg 🔷 Tofu with Thai Sauce 🔷 Onion Omelette ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great food, delish gravies, scrumptious too. All dishes are some fusion Chinese Malaysian and tradition Haka. It’s a family business restaurant, owner’s children are the Chef. Large menu, ask for recommendations. Posters of those signature dishes are on the wall. Curry has strong spices so good and plenty of mix vegetables and big prawn. All fresh seafood and meats. Love the yummy porridge n toppings. Invigorating sour soup is so delicious, don’t waste a thing in the bowl. Tofu is homemade, salad is good mix and refreshing taste. Happy with all recommended food as signature dishes. Very friendly owner, Chef and staffs. Simple decor and cozy. Quick serving and very efficient. Highly...
