A culinary gem in Georgetown - a visit to remember
On my last visit to Georgetown, I had the pleasure of discovering a halal restaurant that is unlike anything else the city has to offer in every way. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the warm, inviting atmosphere and sophisticated yet cozy ambiance.
The true highlight of this place, however, is the unforgettable taste of its dishes. Each dish was a work of art, pleasing not only the eye but also the palate. The flavors were balanced and innovative, a perfect blend of traditional recipes and modern culinary techniques.
The service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable and made every guest feel special. They recommended perfect pairings and were always on hand without being intrusive. Thank you very much in this place to Eirfaan.
What makes this restaurant truly incomparable is the way it combines flavor, service and ambiance to create a unique experience that can't be found anywhere else in Georgetown. It is a must for anyone visiting or living in the city. You leave this restaurant not only feeling like you've had a delicious meal, but also with memories that will last a long time. The only problem with the whole thing is that I unfortunately discovered this place on my last day in...
Read moreHonestly disappointed. All the reviews pointed to a consensus that the food here was phenomenal and as much as I wished for that to be the case it’s untrue.
Let me start off by stating the positive The staff were helpful and courteous The vibes are immaculate and it’s honestly very aesthetically appealing And the drink I personally tried, Mango smoothie, was really good.
Now the sad part It took us 15 min before we receive the drinks and then it further took us over an hour to revive our food which was 3 mains and the last order took over 75min.
While it’s presented really well and the portions were decently sized The fries were saltier than usual for my linking.
The chicken parmigiana was really not worth it. After waiting for an hour the least you’d expect is that the food tastes great, the chicken piece had a lot more skin than meat and the chicken itself was bland with no taste to it whatsoever ever. By far the best thing on the plate was the coleslaw and the garden salad.
Overall (Ambiance/ Drinks/ Approachable staff and friendly)
( The wait time/ the food quality/ the food taste)
And that makes it a place I would rather not visit again except maybe to chill and have drink for which I can...
Read moreWe stumbled into this despite the sign saying western food and were pretty surprised by the vibes and the relaxed atmosphere here. The coffee is just amazing - and in Penang that’s saying a lot! Started about a year ago just before Covid hit and still surviving is proof of concept for this open place that wants to bring people together in an open atmosphere.
The food is amazing - actually we would describe it as fusion …. Many influences but all delicious. Just the fries. alone are worth it! The food is cooked on spot - that means it’s really fresh but may take few minutes. From our perspective time you can easily spend by looking at the really interesting interior and collection of instruments there. And wether you pick up the discussion about the world, faith or life with the owner thats up to you … coming here just for the vibes, the food and drinks is already reason enough. Definitely a...
