Came fr a late lunch on 9th Oct. in a group of 3pax.
Was greeted by one 1st staff, everything was ok, she allowed us to seat anywhere we want. As we were about to sit, another colleague (2nd staff) came and pointed to sit at another table.
2nd staff came and explain how to order frm their system. All was normal, then the 2nd staff back to her table which was right next to our table, where another 3rd staff was there, seating and enjoying their personal snacks.
1st staff went to the kitchen and start preparing orders from customers. The other 2 still busy chatting and eating their own snacks.
Their kitchen concept was an open kitchen, we can see what's going on inside the kitchen. My other friend pointed out there was one sick staff in the kitchen, who stuffed her nose with a rolled tissue, while preparing orders with bare hands, once in a while, she will adjusted the rolled tissue then continue preparing orders (see attached pic, can see the rolled tissue, i believed to prevent frm her runny nose).
The behaviour was clearly unhygienic plus the other 2 staff were busy chatting and talking while eating snacks at the eating area. Cant they do that in the area where blocked from customer's view?
Sushi kings need to step up their game, in improving the food especially on the belt, staff professionalism...
Read morecome here on Monday for dinner. not much customer in shop. very few people. the sushi conveyor is not sending sushi. i can understand that to reduce wastage when there are no customer. the Huawei tablet they provided to order food is very lagging. we have to call the staff , start over order again when the apps freeze. ( but we still gratefully appreciate that they provided a tablet for order. it is way better than thos SCAN TO ORDER reataurant. just that they need to optimize their app)
food is ok but not great. slightly off than the last time.
hope can improve and bring back the great sushi king like it used to be. miss the old time where there is crowd, the food is great and not...

The rice tasted like fish, the salmon looked 3D printed, the ginger was soft rather than crunchy and over all it was not a good experience. It was rolling band sushi but they didn’t even use them, the server came with the food to our table instead which was a bit disappointing. When we called to ask to pay, a server came to our table and took the tablet, than we had to wait 10 minutes until we had to walk up to the counter our selves and pay.
