My favourite dessert spot at JB, they feature these handmade thick chewy taro and sweet potato mochi rice flour balls. I really like the signature cold beancurd, cold grass jelly, with peach gum and the mochi balls. The taste isn’t artificial, you can taste the taro/ sweet potato in the mochi. Best part is you need to pair the dessert with aromatic brown sugar!!! It’s sweet and aromatic!

Their cafe features lots of seats and open till late. You can order their dessert on grab food too, though it’s slightly pricier. The portion might be bigger if you order take away. Their serving bowls seem to be smaller I THINK 🥵🥶

They don’t have a restroom though. You order at the counter and pick your dessert up when your number is called. Food served pretty quickly! Self serve water!

We came during afternoon so it have limited space inside the cafe but it also has outdoor space but recommended to come during late evening if you want to sit outside. Staff recommended to try Taro Family Tau Fu Fah and Matcha Red Bean shaved ice ( Soya Shaved Ice) and both taste so good and delicious. Tou Fu Fah Dessert chain in Malaysia, offering silky tau fu fah to refreshing shaved ice. To share snacks/bites available as well. Good gathering place for weekend, crowded and limited indoor seating space hence we opt for takeaway options (packaging charge applies).
