It's ok to turn away customer politely if it is near to closing time, but not ok if you showed it on your face, body language and talking tone.
Picked up a bottle of kaya, 3 pieces ala carte cakes (which the staff's had picked up from the shelves to the display chiller due to near shop closure). Instead of ordering directly from the chiller the staff diverted me to the shelves (which I thought it was redundant upon realizing the ones I wanted were not on the shelves). Ended up I had to go back to the chiller, and requested the order to be made from there.
Upon paying at the cashier by paywave, the staff said "tap here" in an unfriendly tone. When asked for receipt, I was given only the credit card one, not the itemised one. Why did I not insist? Because I did not want to stay there for even 1 second.
The credit card receipt printing time was 2057, the moment I stepped out,the door shuts and roller shutter down. When checked with google, the operational hour was till 2100 on Saturdays.
I wish to see improvement in customer service hence the review, nothing esle.After all, it's a brand close to many hearts. Kayas, cakes and pastries are superb, don't let the brand go down the drain because of poor customer service.
Lastly, I must say the Christmas decorations are wonderful.

Im allready at the cashier counter but this malay lady and another staff from far talking about stocks or something. Isn't u suppose to handle the customer at cashier counter instead of talking from far to each other on the stocks!??! Im allready frustrated at that point.
Then I asked her for the receipt. She threw thr receipt into my plastic bag in very very rude manner.
You guys allready have less customers compare to lavendar but still can act in this way?! If not...
