香港仔烧腊 Hong Kong Taste 1975 — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Intrigued by many reviewers who claimed that the roast pork here equals the nearby famous Bib Gourmand’s, I had to come and try.

At 9am, there was only one other customer. Ordered triple meat rice for RM 14. Comes with a bowl of legit chicken soup.

First the roast pork. The crackling was biscuit like crispy! Really incredible. The garlic sauce drizzled on the meat further accentuates the savoury flavours of the juicy and tender meat.

The char siew was a tad too fatty for my liking. But it sports a layer of caramelised and slightly brittle sweet sauce coating on every piece. The sweet taste envelopes the meat that mostly melts in your mouth. Next time I’ll request for leaner cuts.

Roast chicken was on par but nothing to shout about.

This place is REALLY REALLY WORTH to try. The service is so nice. The place is humble (small place but so nice)

The food was great, but what i hate the most is that the owner giving me the incorrect portion, i order the 1kg pork belly for my family and i had it delivered, once it arrived on my doorstep i quickly wiegh it to see if it actually 1 kg, but no the result shows me that the pork belly they gace me only had 800 grams on it, well of course i complain to the restaurant for gving mefalse advertisement, well guess what they didn't admit it that it was their fault, they insist that they already put 1kg on it, from my pov it's not, and they just won't admit it, and my family and i have to pay for the price of 1kg for 800 gram of pork belly, i really hate false advertising, and one thing i learned i will never trust this type of restaurant ever again, especially the old unc who...
