We celebrated Mother's Day at this elegant & chic restaurant. Mr. Khert, the Manager of this restaurant made our dining experience extra special. When our dishes arrived, he would be there to explained the dishes to us. Truly appreciate these infos.
I opt for the Dry Aged Spanish Beef, and my goodness! Its one of the best beef I've ever eaten. Its perfectly cooked (medium rare). Every bite of this beef was so juicy & tender. It might looked small in the picture, but trust me, it was so filling as its a 220g piece of high grade beef cut. I'm salivating thinking of how yummy the beef was.
We ordered several appetisers and all of them came out delicious. Did I mentioned that, they actually aged their own meat here. There's a special room where they aged different cuts of meat and poultry. Apart from this, they even made their own butter.
Which brings me to my next memorable food of the evening, their Rosemary Brioche wt Homemade Garlic Butter. They served these homemade bread to us while we were waiting for our appetisers. And my oh my, they came right out of the oven; warm and toasty, so fluffy and when you placed their homemade butter in-between the slots, it just melts and tasted so good. I wished I could buy these babies and bring them back home with me. They don't just looked cute, they tasted so good. My daughter asked for 2nd serving. They were happy to obliged. And she rarely does this, unless it's really good. So, kudos to the amazing chefs for baking these little scrumptious breads and making these yummy butter to pair it with!
Like I've said, all their dishes tasted delicious. Mainly because, a lot of care and effort were put into cooking them. I was surprised when they brought out a homemade burnt cheesecake for me as a Mother's Day special request from my hubby. We were already so full from eating all these delicious food, so the cheesecake was such a good finale to our wonderful dining experience.
Mr. Khert proceed to bring us around for a quick tour around the beautifully decorated restaurant on the 2nd floor. They have two artistically furnished private rooms. There's a room that's big enough to fit a party for 12pax, and another for around 16pax (if I'm not mistaken). Perfect for private functions and high-end clientele meetings. Each guests who dined in these private rooms (minimum spending required according to the size of the room), would be invited to choose a special steak knife from their steak knives box collection when they eat. I didn't take any pics of the knives in that box, so as not to ruin future diners special experience in these rooms. But, there's a famous steak chef's steak knife in one of the box. ;)
If you are a smoker, they provide outdoor seating with a lovely city night view. There are other tables and chairs outdoor, but there's this particular wooden table that, caught my eyes, as it was large and the table top was so gorgeous.
The esthetics of this restaurant gave us a modern, steam-punk mixed with old money classic, Great Gatsby vibe. Whereas, the bar area gave us a sort of grandeur feel and vibe. The entire restaurant is very Insta-worthy indeed. The elegant rooms interior comes with exceptionally-unique-handpicked-by-the-owner decors as well.
There's another surprise which I would leave it to the diners to explore, when they dined in these private rooms. If you are looking to give someone a special treat, I would highly recommend this restaurant. They delivered excellent service, from the waiting staff to the chefs and manager. We could feel how passionate their chefs are, while cooking these amazing dishes for us. The level of communications amongst them and the smile on their faces every now and then, when we looked at them. You would find a partial open kitchen in the main dining area. You could literally see the fire from the burning grill where the meat would be roasted.
Thanks Asador for making our celebration a night to remember. We will definitely be visiting again in the...

Asador V is a spacious and striking restaurant, featuring a captivating blend of loft-style design with luxurious classic elements. The grand chandeliers and columns add a touch of opulence, creating an interesting and unique aesthetic. The restaurant boasts high ceilings and ample space, though a little more focused lighting would enhance the ambiance. The restaurant initially drew us in with its enticing menu and beautiful photographs of the dishes.
Food: We opted for two appetizers and two main courses. Our starters were foie gras and leek with mussels, and the leek with mussels was the more successful dish. The foie gras, while beautifully presented, failed to deliver on its potential. The complex flavors of the foie gras were overwhelmed by the other ingredients, particularly the overly sweet and cold ice cream, which unfortunately eclipsed the delicate flavor of the foie gras. The leek was an excellent choice, featuring tender, juicy flesh with a subtle smoky flavor, perfectly cooked. While the mussels seemed more for visual appeal than flavor, and the portion was small, the dish was overall very impressive. Our waiter informed us it was a signature dish, and I can understand why.
For our mains, we had the black cod and the surf and turf – Australian wagyu beef with half lobster. The lobster was cooked to perfection, juicy, tender, with a slightly sweet flavor and a delightful smoky aroma. This, combined with the grill marks, elevated the dish to a truly divine experience. The wagyu was equally impressive, boasting a satisfyingly rich flavor and a perfect level of doneness. The balance between the meat and lobster was excellent, making this a standout dish. The black cod was also delicious. The fatty, white fish paired well with the accompanying sauces.
Service: The service was decent, with some servers speaking English. While one might expect a higher level of service at a restaurant of this caliber, we made allowances for the language barrier, being foreign diners. Dishes arrived promptly, and dirty plates were cleared efficiently.
Conclusion: I recommend visiting Asador V. Prices are slightly above average, but you’re treated to a luxurious atmosphere and delicious food. It's suitable for both a relaxed dinner or a special occasion. Nearly everything we tried was delicious, and I believe you’ll be pleased with...
Read moreOrdered a ribeye dry aged steak, six sides and salmon for starter. Food is very similar to their sister restaurant Vantador but without the sister’s goodness. Temperature seems to the bigger problem of their food. The salmon starter had a very ambiguous serving temperature and was disgusted by it… had one small bite and I stopped… very good quality of salmon but execution failed it.
I don’t understand why when the steak first served it’s just warm, not hot? Because of that we very much had cool down steak throughout the meal (we are consider quick eaters lol) the same for the sauces. The garlic that comes with it also have a bit of bitterness (vantador’s got no bitterness so was expecting the same). All the sides cooled down extremely quick because of not-hot-enough serving temperature.
Cooled down food is just not so nice to have at a supposedly fine place.
Regarding service, here is definitely not understaffed however no one will ever come refill your sparkling water for you 😂 do it yourself. Mostly everyone here speaks and explains very softly (in fact too soft that I couldn’t catch what they are saying especially with their speaker on.
No staff was outside the restaurant and it was confusing without a guidance for us to enter the restaurant. Walked in the restaurant and the hosts looked confused and I had to approach one of them and asked if there’s a table for two. He said yes but remained confused 😂
There are three big fat chandeliers and I’m right under one of it. Not sure if their are doing their lighting job as I can’t see my food quite well 😂
Overall, everything did not match up to the price and I prefer Vantador wayyyy more. Not coming backkk but I hope they will improve...
