This place is beautifully situated in Sentul KL. Nice surround and ambience. Feel of the old industrial buildings built with strong bricks that had withstand the test of times. Beautiful gardens and nice soft lightnings. Cosy and quiet feel, private old club feel. "FANTASTIC ".....NICE

BISTRO RICHARD First impression The Bistro Richard seems old and tired. Upon arrival, I did not feel a warm welcome from the "manager or captain." An unhappy attitude person that had been stuck there for much too long. There were no reservations (8pm) stated on the tables by the lake, but I was told it was reserved.
SERVICE CREW They are senior to put it in a better world. Tired and does appear with lack of experience but well spoken and tried to be helpful. Respect. Order a sparkling mineral but was sent a still. It was remedied by a senior female. Waiters straight away changed it for me.

1 X Escargot Cane with garlic bread. Was a very simple one. Nothing fancy.
1X Spaghetti Vongole Asked for Al dente, it was something never heard of by them. Always something to learn for all of us. And the chef gladly did it. Appreciate his efforts. Taste was bland for me, and the clams quality was not that good. So, I have to manage expectations.
It's a nice quiet place to hang out once you understand that it's a simple cafe standard.

Because it is such a store, there are couples whenever I go. The restaurant is divided into outside and inside, you can see the pond when you sit outside. This tuna salad is exquisite and delicious, with the sourness of the dressing, the saltiness of black olives, the sweetness of the boiled egg, and the crispy lettuce. This is the bottom one in the 3 salad menu. I think there are different opinions about whether or not you like pizza. The pizza crust is a dry and hard dough that is different from pie dough and bread dough, so if you're used to soft dough, you may feel something is different of toppings, cheese and crust in terms of harmony of them, but the cheese and toppings are delicious. Read moreIt was his birthday. The big 4-0. Vikesh came to this charming little Bistro with his wife. The waitress seated them at a small table outside. It was fully booked. "What a lovely place to celebrate my 40th birthday" he thought.
Vikesh ordered a Chicken Coq au Vin and his wife took the Lamb Shank. "This place was highly recommended" his wife said. Vikesh nodded and said "I can see why". The place was spellbinding and maybe it put a spell on its patrons.
The food arrived and it was quite generous. Big serving, but does the food taste good. Generous servings tend to be a way to compensate for a lacklustre dish. "Bland" the first thing that came out from his mouth.
He could see the disappointment in his wife's face. "I've had better Lamb Shanks from less expensive restaurants", she said. Vikesh's dish was no better.
"But perhaps this bistro isn't catered to us Malaysian," Vikesh said as he glanced around to find mostly Malaysian patrons.
While it wasn't the best experience, certainly for the price, for Vikesh it was the thought that mattered. He loved his wife. He looked at her and comforted her. "Thank you for this, this is beautiful", he said.
They've been married for 10 years, and while it has been turbulent, Vikesh felt age has made their relationship rock solid and he loved her even more.
