Cinnamon Mediterranean & Indian — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

If you like freezer food heated up for you at high prices, this is the best place for you. I can highly recommend just going to the two grocery stores next to this restaurant because you can get the same food for a fraction of the price and have a larger variety of food and drink! There was only one cook and one waiter there for DINNER time! It took them 20 minutes to bring our WATER which ended up just being a bottle from the grocery store charged at 4 times the price and another hour for all of our food to arrive. My hamburger bread was dry and cold, onions not caramelized like the description said, cheese not melted and the patty was basically just a meatball. Definitely a low point in our visit to...

TLDR: Quiet, cozy and got food poisoning after.

My friend and I went there for a peaceful dinner. There was no other patrons (red flag #1) and we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for one night.

The menu was extensive but what they were able to prepare was limited (apparently more things on the menu were available at their Pavilion outlet). The waiter was helpful and spoke well.

We ordered the lamb shank. Tasted alright. My friend likes marrow so he poked at it with a knife and got it out. I didn't touch it. The same night (4 hrs later), my friend started severe diarrhea and vomiting. The food poisoning lasted a whole 5 days with medication.

Never going back to this...

This must be the worse food we had in a long time. We should have known as the resto was empty. The waiters were kind enough but really the food was simply not edible leave alone Mediterranean. The muscles were so overcooked and jaded in cream with no flavor. Clearly prepared long time ago and heated in the microwave 🙈 I was so shocked and shared it with the waiter that convinced me to retake the same as he assured me it would not be overcooked. I didn’t have the heart to tell him the second one was as bad. The “paella” was very dry rice in tomato paste with absolutely no paella flavors. Quite pricey as well....
