The Robertson Kuala Lumpur by MAPLEHOME — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS IS NOT A HOTEL. I see many reviews expecting The Robertson to provide services like a hotel, but it is not. It is a serviced apartment building. The only one who you should complain to about any issues is your host, that depends on who it is when you booked. As for the maintenance of the building, that’s solely on the property itself. Some people complain about the halls being dirty, but I only saw it dirty once, and soon after the cleaning people came and left it clean. The elevators were being fixed when I was there so it did get hot for a while. But understand that YOU'RE IN MALAYSIA. ITS A TROPICAL COUNTRY, ITS ALWAYS HOT.

As for running out of things such as toilet paper, you can buy it yourself, it’s not a big deal. There’s several shops outside right next to the building. If you need quick food, you can go and buy it there as well (there’s a mini market and a few restaurants) or you can go to the many stores near and around this area.

As for the cleanliness of the apartment AFTER you arrive- that is your doing. It’s clean when you first arrive, but the host also provides you with basics such as brooms, counter wipes, etc. Try to use common sense people. If you make a mess, clean it up. Don’t expect for someone else to clean up your mess.

I booked an apartment here through an Airbnb host and I had an excellent experience. It was immaculately cleaned when I arrived and the host did offer cleaning services if I asked, and I only required a deep cleaning once. The rest of the times I tried to maintain it clean myself. They have a washing machine and they provide you with soap for washing. The location is perfect to walk around anywhere in the bukit bintang area with all the tourist spots nearby. Our 6nights stay at this property managed by Maple Homes was just awesome. We were alloted 1bhk apartment in North Suites on the 23rd floor. The city view from this apartment is amazing, specially KL tower and Petronas tower. This apartment is equipped with a proper kitchen with basic cooking pans, cutlery, refrigerator, microwave oven, electric kettle, Hot plate, washing machine, TV (with limited malay channels).

We found the apartment very clean upon arrival. Although, the check-in time was 3pm we were provided check-in at 2pm.

Basic toiletries are provided in the bathroom like shampoo, shower gel, slippers, shower cap, toilet rolls.

It is a service apartment and not hotel. So limited housekeeping services. We were told we can avail only 1 free cleaning service with linen change during our stay. So for a long stay you will have to pay for more services or do it yourself as basic cleaning items like broom and pan are available in the apartment. Although, there was a washing machine and detergent I did not find a clothes drying stand.

It has 2 beautiful pools, 1 at the 6th floor which is a huge one with view of the Merdeka 118 and the smaller jacuzzi one at the 42 floor which has view of all 3 towers. The apartment location is very good. There's 24x7 supermarket below the property and few restaurants. Also, plaza rakyat train station is about 700-800mtrs, pudu Sentral bus station about 500mtrs, Jalon Alor (food street) about a km the property. Overall it was a lovely stay. I...

The Robertson Kuala Lumpur is a fully secure complex, people need to have a valid card access to enter the gate, doors, elevators..

The One Bed Room Unit manage by Maplehome is quite nice with a nice window view facing to LaLaport Shopping Park and slightly view of the near completed the Second World taller building in the World..

The Robertson is very convinience, it takes about 10 minutes walk to a night food market at Alor Street and also around 15 minutes walk to the famous shopping area at Bukit Bintang like Lot 10, Wolo, Farenheit, Starhill, Pavilion, etc…

The Complex has plenty of facilities on level 6 and 7 like an Olympics size swimming pool, Golf swing practice room, Putting lawn, Gym room, Small park with an outdoor exercise equipment, Children play ground.. There is also a Roof Top Small lagoon type swimming pool on the North Suites and there is Roof Top sky view on the 46th floor of the South Suites where people can see most view of Kuala Lumpur..

The room is also clean with a simple touch of interior design on the wall and ceiling that make a cozy ambience.

There is a Smart TV set with Netflix channel ready to be watch, nice sofa bed, full coverage of wifi, clean towels, clean shower room and also clean toilet.

Good location, great views and nice place to staycation! Nice experience stay in The Robertson run by Maplehome, hopefully next time when visiting Kuala Lumpur could stay at Maplehome property again either at The Robertson or...
