BEAUTIFUL GEM! I'd intended to visit Dilli 6 since I came across it in an extensive internet search for healthy Indian restaurants that could accommodate special diets. Oh My Goodness this tranquil establishment is an amazing journey to the heart of an "authentic" Indian kitchen here to nourish the body and feed the soul.
My gosh!! Where do I start?! The ingredients will HEAL you! {Let it be known that they are not using trash oils and harmful chemicals in the food here!!}
The Owner I am so grateful for the owner, Ms. Ankita's respect for life, diversity, and healing. She is truly a kind woman with integrity who goes beyond to host and ensure that each guest has an amazing and unforgettable experience at her place. She is ethical, and I appreciate this so much. Ms. Ankita came over from home to welcome me and make sure that the kitchen was following my strict medical dietary needs. Beautiful spirit she is!
The Food Everything here is so fresh and well prepared: the atmosphere; the energy; the aesthetics; ouuuu weee THE FOOD!!....When I say that there is love and organic intention in every bite.!. Maaa. I'm telling you impeccable is not enough to describe the true essence of India that soothes, excites and ignites every tastebud in the mouth.
The Chef The head chef, Mr. Danesh, I believe is his name is such a gentle soul. Lawd y'all...This man can cook!! OMG!! He has this place on lock....as we say back home.
This food is so good; it's days later, and I'm craving for more. I spoke with him afterwards and asked if he used any thickeners (just to calm my worry brain), and he insured me that NO, absolutely he did not. And that is the truth... the whole truth and nothing but the truth! The fish curry and the chickpeas were out of this world. I could even eat the sauces because they were authentic blends of vegetables made just for me. WOW! Seriously, indulgent....I need more words to describe this tabletop full of heaven.
Best of all, I did not get sick after eating the food here at Dilli 6 (like I have at another vegetarian Indian restaurant that I use to frequent in Bangsar that was dishonest with about the ingredients they served me).
Anyway, I'm not kidding. Dilli 6 is the REAL DEAL, and I encourage everyone to go and experience what true Indian cooking (and fusion) is. You can live and be healthy and enjoy 🤗 the most flavorful, cook-to-order fresh food that you ever want to taste. Oh yeah....be patient while waiting for your food. Anything that is catered to takes time to be perfected....You will...

Waves Cafe KL is a trendy cafe located conveniently next to the pool 🏊♂️ , offering a refreshing and relaxing ambiance to its customers 🥰😍.
Food 🥘: Western Menu Asian Menu
Beverage ☕️ Mango Lassi Latte
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Waves Cafe and was delighted to try their teatime menu. 🥰 The menu features both Western and Asian options, and I had the opportunity to try a few items from each.😝
On the Western menu, the Hummus and Falafel, along with the Cucumber 🥒 with Sour Cream and Smoked Salmon 🍣 , were standout dishes. The Mini Cheese Basket was also a great addition to the selection. I opted for the Chicken Burger 🍔 , which was a tasty choice, but the Veg option also looked appealing. For dessert, the Brownie was a decadent treat. 🥧
Moving on to the Asian menu, I tried the Mini Nasi Lemak in Cups 🍚 , which was a delicious take on the classic dish. The Laksa was also flavorful and satisfying. I enjoyed the Mini Burger 🍔 , which came in both Egg and Chicken options. The Samosas were a nice touch and added a bit of crunch to the meal.
To accompany my meal, I ordered a Mango 🥭 Lassi and a Latte ☕️ , both of which were well-prepared and a great complement to the food.
Overall, Waves Cafe's teatime menu is a great option for anyone looking for a mix of Western and Asian flavors. 🥰 The food was presented nicely and tasted great, and the complimentary tea and coffee were a nice touch. I would definitely recommend...
Read moreWe had catered our Christmas Party from Ankita and her team. And boy! We were in for a treat! We had requested for 6 starters and 3 gravies and rice and parathas. Honestly each of their food items were excellent, be it the kebab rolls or samosas or chicken 65 or fish tikka. The hummus platter was an excellent distraction in the middle of serious discussions and the piping hot momos were delicious enough to stop any serious discussions!
Moving on to the gravies, we had ordered mutton curry, acHari chicken and egg curry with mixed parathas and veg pulaos. So usually when we cater food from hotels I always feel that all the gravies look the same and taste the same. However that was NOT the case here. Each had their distinctive flavour and each was a stand-alone dish on its own. To clearly state how well the food was received, mutton curry was completely finished at the end of the dinner because all the guests absolutely loved it.
Desert was Rasmalai which also hit the perfect note of not being too sweet.
Ankita had come in exactly on time to set up the food herself and her servicing lady Mary was top notch. Very efficient and courteous. After she left, my table was spotlessly clean and I could not believe that this was the same table which had been groaning under the weight of all the food.
Presentation was lovely and so was the overall experience. Ankita makes it personal and that definitely makes...
