Nice place, chill vibe, quiet atmosphere. Nice place to have chill meeting, creative work or catching up with friends. The selection of hot food is very little, the choices of desserts is a bit small, but the coffee selection is nice for one to enjoy coffee without the fussiness of selecting what milk or what type of beans, or what method use to extract it, suitable for beginner and casual enjoyers of coffee. The picture book helps one visualise the coffee selection, which is a nice touch. Went and ordered Caramel Chip Latte, Creamy Wild Mushroom Soup, Chocolate Tart Set, and Almond Salted Caramel Mille Feuille Crepe Cake. The Caramel Chip Latte is nice, a good blend of the slight bitterness of coffee and the sweetness of the caramel. However the taste of caramel is very mild, to the point that I question if my coffee even has it. The Creamy Wild Mushroom Soup is nice, not too salty, which comes with 3 slice of Garlic Bread. Visually it doesn’t look like it has cream in the soup, and it’s a bit thin to be categorised as Creamy. I question whether it has wild mushrooms in it, but the taste is quite nice so I’ll overlook it. However, my suggestion to the cafe is to maybe change the bowl for the soup, as the shape of the bowl makes it hard to scoop the last few bites of the soup. The Crepe cake is nice and the flavour suits my palate, but the crepe might be a bit dry and you can taste the salt for the salted caramel part of the crepe cake. The almond topping is my favourite. The tart might need some improvement on the shell, as it looks and tastes a bit undercooked, which kills the chocolate fudge taste. Overall it’s a nice place with good food, nice vibe, and great place to get...
Read moreFirst time stepping in as I was drawn to the edible coffee cup! The cafe interior design is really top notch and is cozy and comfortable. i ordered one of the coffee speciality which was the cube americano upon recommendation by the staff. i also ordered the egg croissant sandwich. Firstly, despite the double infusion of caffeine (there was a giant espresso cube in the coffee), the coffee still didn't feel "kau" enough. Perhaps the water content was too much? or the espresso ice cube didnt melt quick enough to infuse with the rest of the drink content. so i thought it was a tad weak. But my main gripe was the egg croissant. somehow the contents of the egg kinda melted into a gooey mess after it was popped into the microwave. As a result, I couldnt taste the egg at all. perhaps management can look into making the dish separately - toast the croissant and then only freshly insert the egg...

Had some extra time one hot afternoon and decided to wander a bit further out from the city centre. The moment I stepped in, I was sweating so much that the staff handed me a napkin with a smile (a first for me, honestly 😂). The space felt calm and inviting right away.
I asked for a recommendation and got their Kota Kinabalu Coffee, which turned out to be the highlight of that day's cafe hopping. The presentation was beautiful, with a huge coffee ice cube shaped like a mountain, Kota Kinabalu I guess haha. Slowly melting into a smooth, zesty orange-infused latte.
I didn’t try the food this time, but judging by what I saw and what others around me were eating the portions were generous and the dishes looked delicious. It's just that I mainly focus on the drinks during cafe hopping. If I started including food I'd be stuffed every time I...
