We came here for breakfast again, with Daniel this time...As usual, I would go for my glorious Nasi Lemak, but both my wife and Daniel were hungry for Lontong...

We came here again this morning, for a glorious breakfast! And thankfully, the level of spiciness in their Rendang Ayam and Sambal Sotong has been reduced considerably...I had Pulut Kuning with Rendang Ayam, Sambal Sotong, Paru Goreng and Telur Mata, together with Teh Tarik, while my wife ordered Lontong with Sambal Sotong and Paru Goreng, and a host of other takeaway foods for Najwa & Daniel. After that glorious breakfast, now I am ready to hibernate...

My wife seems to like this place so much, as this is the second time we came here this month...So, just to oblige her, Najwa and me followed her here for breakfast this morning...Najwa had bihun goreng with sambal, my wife had nasi lemak with paru goreng, while I also took the nasi lemak with rendang ayam and sambal sotong... Unfortunately, the rendang or sambal, or both of them were too spicy for my liking..โ˜นโ˜น Hence, I couldnt finish my meal, and to make it worst, my ice tea was delivered late!! What a bummer...๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„

Santai was just simply...santai! It was my first visit during breakfast, and I was surprised to find so many patrons from different walks of life, simply and casually picking up their foodies from the breakfast table, which was located outside the restaurant...these are just simple food like nasi lemak, fried mee, and currypuffs but the taste is excellent! You can only order from the menu after 12 noon...a good place to take your family and enjoy...

Before they renovated their ttdi branch, their food, service and prices were already okay and I enjoyed going there. After their renovation, food quality still maintained and staff were great however some dishes were removed and some dishes were a bit pricey (?) than before.

I think some of the staff were also trying to adjust to the new layout of everything, that's just what I've observed. This should not deter you from going, I enjoyed my meals but if you're bringing a family then prepare your wallet. Fish is rather pricey as well and be sure to make your orders clear and if there is a size to your order then it should be stated.

And would like to add that if they could change the layout of their menu that would be great as it is not user friendly and rather confusing to people. My mother had a hard time flipping through pages and navigating through the menu.

But overall it is a place i enjoy and hopefully new customers...

As far I am concerns on these restaurant being in Taman Tun ,.price is on the high side to be frank . They have many choices of food . Not bad at all . Since covid they allow only take away . Their business is on the week end sat & sun in the morning for breakfast on other days they don't serve breakfast bec of covid . To me I would not patronise everyday or even weekly . As I see the people attend to customer are not that friendly either . So it is up too individual actually . One thing for sure for the quality you get so you pay the price for it as far I am concerns . They should have very clear sign stating operations time so.that those who don't know able to be more alert . As I been going several time to find out that they don't serve morning breakfast on a normal day . The owners should be more considerate...

Good news first! The atmosphere is nice and the limau suam was fine. The chicken was also properly cooked.the Cantonese yee mee was big and filled with many veggies and meat. Now for the bad news. When the food came after a 15 minute wait(even though there were less than 3 tables occupied), the buttermilk chicken came looking like phlegm mountain. The sauce wasn't warm, the curry leaves and slices of cili padi were so few. Maybe 2 small slices of chilli and 1 tiny tiny leaf smaller than a pinky nail. It tasted as if someone watered down buttermilk sauce and added enough sugar for a cake. The classic taste wasn't there and the chicken wasn't as crunchy as it could've been. I was very disappointed as I've received much better food for a smaller price with just as good of an atmosphere. Overall I'd give it a 4/10. No dice
