Recommended of you have a big patience, and dont mind getting a supposedly hot—but turns out to be slightly cold drink and food, by the time you eat. This is my 2nd time visiting this kopitiam. The first time experience was not bad, food was great, but the preparation took slight time. But the 2nd time my group got here, it gets worsen. I had to wait for more than 40 minutes (even 50 minutes) to get my breakfast in FULL SET. I dont know if this is racism, or the waiters just basically need more training aka don’t know how to serve consumers in order. They give the foods and drinks to the chinese tourists first despite we, the southeast asean, arrived first. Even we arrived 10 minutes before them! We basically just begged them to serve us our food several times, they just kept serving other tables but us. No apologies, no thank you from them and the owner. Not to mention, the restaurant’s electricity kept going off 2 times. Not recommended. Better go to another kopitiam/restaurant. And for the owner, please just change the open hours. If you need more preparation, just open your restaurant until it is fully ready to serve customers, do not make them waiting only to serve them cold food!
In reply to the restaurant’s reply: NO. I remember very well until this day that those chinese visitors ordered the same breakfast set as me and my group. I remember they were the first to receive the soft boiled egg and toast, while our group did not. If the owner or the chef look at the order sequence, our group or table should have been served first. It has nothing to do with the...

At first I didn't really plan to eat here, just simply browsing through as I was looking for wantan mee. But the store owner was gracious and courteous enough to show me what they have, and he had me at fried chicken rice with assam sauce. Being someone who loves sour dishes, I could not resist.
The chicken rice with assam sauce is amazing. I really love the tanginess of the assam in the sauce. Most of the fried chicken is coated well but there were some parts that felt like the batter was covering the chicken well that the sauce couldn't penetrate through. The hint of spiciness offers just a nice kick to really savour the flavour. Honestly a really great dish with 1 free drink for less than RM20.
On a side note, the interior and exterior is amazing. The inside is super clean and cool enough from the warmer outside air (It was around 6:45 to 7:20 ish pm).
Most importantly to the owner (I hope it's him hahaha), your courteous and friendly manner is what invited me more to try out the dish. It was just from that little welcoming attitude that I would say everyone should at least give a try to listen before going for the dishes.
Looking forward to the next visit, hopefully soon. Keep up...
Read moreStumbled upon this kopitiam as we walked around the area. There wasn’t many people during lunch so there were plenty of seats available.
The uncle who attended to us was very friendly and explained the menu well. There is a big variety of foods and drinks to try — rice, noodles, etc.
I tried their chicken curry nasi lemak. Loved the sambal and chicken curry — I am a spicy sambal person and this had a bit of spicy kick which was still bearable. For drinks, I had their cham (coffee + tea). I think the ratio of coffee and tea was balanced. One of the best cham I’ve tried.
Overall, I enjoyed my lunch here. Prices of food and drinks were affordable. Cozy environment to chill with family...
