Fish Village Seafood Restaurant 海渔村蒸汽火锅 — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

First time here, (as a tourist)

Entered the restaurant with little to non people. Staff immediately brought my group & I to a private room without explaining to us that a private room requires a minimum spending of 500RM.

Moved out to the “public” area & ordered a handful of dishes. (Crabs in particular)

Ordered.. 1 x black pepper crab & 1 x chilli crab.. Crab served were seasoned salt crab & mala crab (wrong order)

Told the waiter that the crabs that came were not what we ordered & asked for an exchange. Chef didn’t want to do the exchange despite the boss agreeing to it. Gave a black face after taking back the wrong orders.

As reasonable as we can be, we carried on eating & ate the newly served crab (in black pepper ✅ & sweet and sour ❌)

Overall, 4/10 experience.

Ended the day with an overcharged bill (gave us 12 buns costing when ordered only 6)

Terrible service, I've never seen anything like it. I came in the evening, ordered dablings, they put me at a table, I waited for my order for about 20 minutes, I didn't wait, I asked the waitress where my order was, and she pointed to the table behind me. It turns out that my food warmer was not working, so they put it at another table without warning me, very nice, if I had not asked, I do not know how long it would have been there. Restaurant staff brought us to VIP room instantly when the main dining hall was quite empty. No extra charges were brief to us till we asked. Poor staff communication and food ordered came wrongly. We ordered for Chilli Crab and Black pepper crab, the order came (salted garlic crab & dried mala pepper crab). Chef show attitude despite the boss agreed to swap for us. No sign of being nice to customer except the boss. And during payment, the restaurant charges us extra when we tally the orders. Highly not recommended unless you don’t mind...
