General customer service is fine, taste is above average, but be careful of their meal charge.
Long story short:
We were overcharged for RM12 where we were told that that’s standard charge for each person stepping into the store where in fact they found out that was for the sauces ( coriander/ garlic blah blah blah) and we did return them before any of our orders.
They tried to make it better by giving us voucher but we were still overcharged for they said they can’t do on their system (obviously lying). I would say good effort, but I’m not coming back.
小心被額外徵收一個人RM6的餐位費。
Gave up cause u would know whether if people are really try to solve the issue especially us ourselves worked in service line before.
Good quality tasty food? Yes.
Expensive? 2 pax billed at RM187.9 but taste wise I would say worth it.
Experience? I don’t like hidden or ridiculous charges.
My sister and I are definitely haters of all corianders/garlic/... where we told the staff specifically before our orders that we didn’t need them.
When it comes to bill, my sister did notice the meal charge where each person was charged at RM6 ( exclusive service charge 10% and sst 6%), the staff A told my sister as long as the customer stepped into the store each would be charged, my sister paid by using credit card then. (Where my sister should insist)
When I came back from the toilet, I asked staff A again where he got staff B to tell me that almost the same reason and I started to question “so even if I spend in the store but I still need to pay?” And he mumbled.
In the end we got the manager, and first he explain according to xiaolongkan’s policy, everyone is charged no matter we took the corianders or not. When I started to ask was that stated on the menu and no one told us, he flipped to the menu finding that it was like normal order items where we didn’t tick, and he said it was their policy they can’t void?
I was furious, it’s definitely alright if they stated or mentioned, but they didn’t, and I insist refunds on the card, at first he was like okay but then said the machine can’t do the refund?
My sister and I both worked in retail before and we know how machine work, we were like “Get it void” and he changed again said “oh our system can’t tally” so here’s the rm20 voucher, which means if I come back with my sister again, the voucher only worth RM8 cause they said policy can’t void. I gave up, u would know if they were sincerely to refund or not, and at my stand, I have no responsibility for you can’t tally your system and I’m overcharged.
I’m willing to pay for good quality food, but not dishonest charges. RM20 voucher? It can decompose itself cause I’m not going back anymore.
I didn’t require an immediate answer from Staff A and staff B where they can actually consult cause we did ask them if they wanted to confirm with the manager? But not like giving us the...
Read moreWent during last Saturday around 3pm and the restaurant was so empty (should take this as a sign). Once we sat down the server immediately served us chinese tea and brought over dipping sauces to our table. Wasnt quite happy about it as I think they should have asked us first if we would like those condiments instead of shoving them into our face once we sat down. Then we were given a menu booklet to order. When we FINISHED ordering and handed our order to the server, they told us the option of half order (半份) was not available (and also a lot of items on the menu, as common as beef slices - really? in a hotpot place?) and asked if we would like to change our order into full portion. We didn't quite understand it as they could have told us beforehand. Couldnt quite shake the feeling that they were hoping to 'trick' us into changing ALL the orders into full portion by just a nod.
The dishes were very dusty so pay attention to clean it first before you put all the yumminess into the dusty bowl :( Overall the taste were okay though the soup bases were quite diluted to me. Also RM48 for soup base is just ridiculous. Wouldnt visit again as there are so many other hotpot places that are on par with better quality, price...

Located just on the side of Fahrenheit KL Bukit Bintang, this is one of the international chain of Xiao Long Kan hotpot. Despite the puny looking size of the restaurant from the outside.. It is actually quite spacious with few floors of dining.. Including many private rooms.
Do try their Signature tomato 🍅 soup base 5 🌟 which surprisingly really good (coming from a person that would not order tomato soup). We also ordered Ma La soup and another clear soup. All taste full bodied and really tasty.
The seafood... Is also fresh and tasted great (esp with their home made chilli sauce). Would also like to comment that the service here is really top notched 5 🌟 which is also one of the reason why the high ratings.
Definitely will earn a next visit from us.
