What sets this food court apart from the other two in Mid Valley Megamall is the price. The place is catered mainly to the working class, and many mall employees come here for meals, starting from early morning breakfast before the mall opens, up until after shops have closed.
Stalls are all meant to appeal to the Malay tastes. Most stalls are of Malay mixed rice ("nasi campur"), with the remaining few consisting of Chinese mixed rice, Indian mamak, Thai and local style made-to-order stir-fried dishes. The food is the typical "kampung" style, similar to what you'd find in local hawker stalls. Quality varies, and there are a handful of stalls known for a certain dish or having good food. If unsure of where to go, it is worth just quizzing any customers in the vicinity or any of the employees from other shops in the mall. Chances are, they will have a favourite, or they will be able to point you to which stall has better food.
Do note, however, some stalls only open towards the evenings, so it is not unusual to see around half the counters still shut. It is usually easy to find a place to sit, because patrons rarely eat there and prefer to take away ("tapau") their food. This is mostly because the area isn't very clean – floors and table surfaces are sticky and oily – and because it is so poorly ventilated, you'll end up smelling of cooking fumes if you stay in there for too long.
For the portions, prices here are by far the lowest in the whole mall. A large serving of mixed rice with one meat / fish, one tofu, and one vegetable would cost you around RM5–8 (depending on which stall you go to and how big a portion you scoop). Although not cheap by local standards, you'd be hard-pressed to find a meal that filling at that price within a mall. What I particularly love is that here, unlike the other two food courts in the mall, when you have mixed rice, you are allowed to scoop your own food instead of having the server portion it out for you. Thus, they can charge you based on how much or how little you've taken (which is only fair), and you get to choose what you want rather than have someone give you the lousy parts.
So this place is by no means a place you'd want to go if you are looking for a leisurely tea break, but it serves its purpose by providing reasonably good food fast at a (relatively) reasonable price. Given its location, it is a steal to get your meal from here, provided you are willing to brave the grime...

Came here for a cup of tea after dropping my wife for her weekend grocery shopping. The place is still quiet but clean. Several stalls were still closed. I ordered a teh tarik kurang manis or with less sugar from N.A Seven Makanan Kita. The tea tasted authentic: hot and smooth. Very affordable wallet-friendly price for a big cup of hot milk tea: RM1.50 only. Very satisfying. Service is attentive and fast.
A hidden and unexpected inexpensive sizable no fuss, halal foodcourt, located on the lower level of at mid valley megamall. Catering for the daily meal needs of the mall's general workers and lower paid shop assistants or anyone on a tight budgets. We usually go there for takeaway fresh cut fruits from the stall at the entrance. The price is cheaper and serving size bigger then many other outlets serving similar items inside the mall.
Update. The cut fruit stall is closed. Had a glass of teh tarik here for only RM1.30. Undoubtedly, the most inexpensive venue in mid valley Mall. Also found out nasi campur is offered at RM5 and below. Mari...
Read more(Halal) We reached this foodcourt at LG of Midvalley mega mall (the entrance beside MBG). It was a bit warm at 4 pm on weekdays but not to the stage of hot. 80% of the tables were occupied. Ordering at individual stalls (from about 15 stalls) and everything self-service.
Malay mixed rice was mediocre. Nothing special. RM8 for 1 chicken wing, vegetables, and 3 fishballs. 2 stars
Nasi lemak from the first stall at the entrance was surprisingly delicious. RM2 per serving with half egg, anchovies, and cucumber. Rhe curry sambal was delicious, and the rice was sticky well done. It was valued for money. 4 stars
From the sane first stall, the mee goreng was slightly above average. RM3 per serving. 3 stars
It was a great discovery of such an economical meal within a high-end and expensive shopping mall. Very satisfying meal for 2 persons...
