This esteemed Xinghua cuisine restaurant, established for over 50 years on Ipoh Road, has been handed down through three generations. Not being a connoisseur, I'm uncertain whether it's Fujian, Xinghua, or Cantonese cuisine, but it did gave me a delightful and worthwhile experience!
Yesterday, we ordered four regular side dishes. While they weren't particularly unique, they held an ancient, nostalgic flavour. The taste was balanced, offering just the right blend of sweetness and saltiness without an overwhelming use of MSG, unlike some other eateries.
The service staff were exceptionally friendly, maintaining cheerful dispositions despite their busy schedules. You can also try the fried oysters with egg and crab dumplings (hai zhu). Both are recommended.
Parking can be a bit difficult day or night but the food is well worth going a...

We ordered six different dishes, and each one was a revelation – the taste was truly original and authentic, unlike anything we've had elsewhere. The unique flavors alone are reason enough to visit. It's clear we weren't the only ones enjoying the food; the place was packed, which is always a great sign of quality.
