This esteemed Xinghua cuisine restaurant, established for over 50 years on Ipoh Road, has been handed down through three generations. Not being a connoisseur, I'm uncertain whether it's Fujian, Xinghua, or Cantonese cuisine, but it did gave me a delightful and worthwhile experience!

Yesterday, we ordered four regular side dishes. While they weren't particularly unique, they held an ancient, nostalgic flavour. The taste was balanced, offering just the right blend of sweetness and saltiness without an overwhelming use of MSG, unlike some other eateries.

The service staff were exceptionally friendly, maintaining cheerful dispositions despite their busy schedules. As evening approached, the crowds began to swell, a daily occurrence according to the staff. Thankfully, arriving early spared us from long queues and potential hunger. I think the food is only prepared to order, therefore the service might be a tad slow.

Despite its legacy and status among the top ten must-try delicacies on Yibao Road, the prices are surprisingly reasonable, making this time-honored restaurant more accessible compared to some renowned...

Old style cooking with original tastes that didn't change for decades. This restaurant is a must if you are into original tastes. Ambience has been on a standstill probably since the restaurant opened but what matters is the food. And oh, they don't have a menu - just ask.

Mee Sua is a plain looking and unassuming dish until you put a spoonful into you mouth. Then the taste of pork lard explodes.

Follow up with a fried 'pek ker' done Hokkien mee style with dark sauce. This is a dish served in only a handful of restaurants and definitely recommended. The Hokkien mee version here however, is not as distinctive. Lor mee is also not the best in town but decent enough.

If you are not in the mood for noodles, try their tasty fish porridge. Again, the looks of the dish hides the tastes it has. There are 3 types of fish to choose from or if meat is your fancy, you can order it with ribs.

You can also try the fried oysters with egg and crab dumplings (hai zhu). Both are recommended.

Parking can be a bit difficult day or night but the food is well worth going a...

We recently had an incredible dining experience at Million Restaurant on Jalan Ipoh, and we couldn't be more impressed! We ordered six different dishes, and each one was a revelation – the taste was truly original and authentic, unlike anything we've had elsewhere. The unique flavors alone are reason enough to visit. It's clear we weren't the only ones enjoying the food; the place was packed, which is always a great sign of quality. We saw a wonderful mix of customers, from families enjoying a meal together to groups of youngsters, showing just how broad their appeal is. Beyond the fantastic food, the prices were very reasonable, offering excellent value for such delicious and distinctive dishes. The staff were also top-notch – friendly and efficient, ensuring our food was served promptly despite the busy atmosphere. We highly recommend Million Restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious meal in Shah Alam. In fact, we're already planning our next visit...

Okay… I think all these people who are rating this place a 5 star has never eaten at a restaurant, coffee shop, banquet, char chan teng or basic mamak before…. Everything that I ordered here is tasteless, no heart & soul into cooking their food…. The mee sua was the worst! The seaweed was the most flavourful but in the sense of SALTY till you drink sea water that over powers the noodles… the noodles completely had no taste.. just like water…. Crab cakes? Omg horrid… ur just eating a Chinese lo bak u know? The crab taste? 0% not even an imitation crab taste or looks… no real crab.. just fish cake… 🤦‍♀️ the hor chian……….. oh god… they penyet the oysters and everything turned into pancake.. plus they r not fresh oysters… just frozen for months then not fresh edi they penyet and smash it into the omelette…. Just fry me the egg without the imitation oysters please.. will not visit here anymore…. Save your money… your grandma can cook better….

This is one of the historical restaurant where the business has run for more than half century. I came across this place due to I'm craving for fried meesua (mian xian)(炒面线) which is their signature dish. This is not a grand restaurant but it's has a nostalgia atmosphere. The Mee sua noodles are well cooked with soft and smooth texture come with variety of ingredients such as peanuts, squid, prawn, egg, fish cake, pork, vegetables and most importantly the fried pork oil! (猪油渣). Their fried oyster omelette (蚝煎) are different from normal crispy style. It's a layer of thick egg with oysters fried together. My friend who is fancy of oyster omelette likes this dish alot. Another fried carb meat (蟹枣) which is also simple, crunchy delicious. Total bill of our bill is RM48. Their other signature dishes are fried bek Kueh (炒白粿), xinghua fried Mee Hon (兴华炒米粉) and porridge.
