MONGOLIA BBQ — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Me and my husband had been here yesterday and I didn't like it at all. Most of the item we try to order were not available according to server. At least we placed order of sweet and sour chicken, salted egg squid for drink fresh coconut and watermelon. All we got was fresh coconut and salted squid, upon checking they only had this order in there system. It was almost 30 min we had been waiting to get salted squid. Later again we placed order for sweet and sour chicken but did not get it. We almost spend 1hour 30 min. People who came after us got there food and left and we kept waiting. When we told this to one of the person in charge his response was sorry we have do many ordered so we forgot. How come only our ordered got delayed and other got it on time.

I dont think we will ever think...

Food taste excellent. Especially the “african” fried rice. Really flavourful and portion is big too. If ordered with side dish, can be shared amongst 2 pax. Fried glass noodle was ok.

The bbq chicken wings was really nice, with a bit of char on the skin and the right amount of spice. Although it gets messy cause u need to eat w yr hands, its still very delicious.

Lok-lol especially the fried mushrooms is really nice.

The only downside to this place is the place/environment where it can br quite dark as the tables are at the tepi jalan. It can be humid and hot as well.

Another downside is that car park is rm10. We parked at the side of the road but they still came to collect the fee from us.

After many months of not eating my fav BBQ chicken in Changkat/Alor, I finally tried it tonight and I must say, the quality and taste deteriorated. I come for the marinate of the chicken as well as the sour and spicy sauce but this time the chicken was not cooked well at some parts and too burnt at some parts. Apart from that, the sauce was still punchy and tasty but it's runnier than usual now. I had to wait for quite some time to get my 5 pieces of chicken (RM4 each). But, wow, it was packed on a weekday. I can't imagine how crowded it will be over the weekend. Good luck to those that has...
