The Best part Is Location , which is near the to Ho spots of Bukit Bintang & hence offers you freedom to have a Late Night Outings and close to all KLCC area / china town / KL Tower ./Pavilion Mall . Pool is small but nice location , Hotel is clean overall but rooms are very small Cons : The staff is not very friendly & they seem to not like Indians A. I walked in to know ON 7TH Aug 23 if i can get a better deal then travel web site ( Was offered 18k for ( 2rooms X2 Days) 4 People , while got for 14K on Make My trip for my Date of 11th to 13th Aug 23 As as Make my trip the SD was supposed to be 100 MYR however Hotel collected 2Rooms *100/ Day * 2 days = 400 Which is unnecessary as it blocked me of 8K Cash ( considering there is no Food / Alcohol / Fridge ) they said its towards damage due to smoking / etc which is possible No Towels on the Roof top Pool , have to collect from Reception No water was served on day of check out Its chargeable ( How do they expect us to have Tea ?? check out is at 12 Noon ) Water is chargeable on day you leave there is only One suit case table no space to keep additional suite case if you are a couple I was cheated while coming from KL to Hotel via Private Taxi ( which charged me 260 MYR ) against Grab 65 MYR . 4 Times on seeking support to hep me arrive at such pricing the male & female staff favored the Taxi Guy & aske me to pay without knowing or clarifying there are no such charges mentions any where for a 50 km / 55 min ride . when i asked should i seek help from Police the Female reception lady instigated driver to settle at Police station and were rude . Then the Driver Himself offered Rs 150 MYR which i paid however the Lady was asking driver to go to Police ) I would not recommend to any one to stay specially Indian Most Hotels charges me for my 10 days Trip at 4 Hotels 100 MYR except this Hotel 9 . generally we got soft Pillow , thin every where however hear they refused and had very High Neck hard Pillows on which we could not sleep 10 . Room service clean the room , without cleaning the Dust Bins and Cleaning TEA CUPS NO body location Provided , they suggested we use same body shower gel as its imported from Australia and works...

The hotel itself wasn’t the problem—the front desk staff were kind and tried to help when I raised concerns about dust in the room. The real issue was that the AC filter and vents had not been cleaned, which left the room extremely dusty. Since I have asthma, this became a serious problem as I was breathing in the dust, which made me short of breath and caused me to cough.

The front desk handled the situation appropriately, but as I was sitting in the lobby booking another hotel, the maintenance manager came down with the AC filter I had requested be cleaned the day before. For some reason, he accused me of tampering with the inside of AC unit—which I did not do because I certainly wouldn’t risk making the room (and my belongings) even more dusty.

Rather than addressing the cleanliness issue, the maintenance manager seemed embarrassed by the state of the unit and became defensive. He even told me I needed to “respect his country” and claimed I just wanted a refund and to complain. This was after I had already checked out and was simply waiting in the lobby. Instead of respecting a guest who paid to stay at the property, he persisted in confronting me despite my repeated requests for him to leave me alone.

My complaint was valid: the room was constantly dusty, with fine particles covering everything and making it difficult to breathe. Rather than properly servicing the HVAC system—vacuuming the exhaust and intake—his team only rinsed the filter and replaced it, which did nothing to resolve the issue.

A solution to this issue would be using the square filters and installing them inside of the vent itself along with the additional filter he cleaned. The fact that the maintenance manager accused me of something without any proof or verifying anything himself is something I felt was wrong and I then called the police to have them come to the property because under Penal Code amendments (Sections 507B, 507C) for general bullying and harassment, and the established Section 509 of the Penal Code for offenses intended to insult modesty through words...

MOV Hotel is praised for its excellent Bukit Bintang location, modern design, and friendly staff, though some recent reviews mention minor cleanliness issues and potential noise from nearby nightlife. Guests enjoy the unique lobby slide, rooftop pool, comfortable rooms with city views, and convenient access to shopping and dining. Facilities include a gym, communal lounges, and a unique co-working space called the Moonshot Basement, accessed via the lobby slide. | |Key Highlights|* Location:
Strategically located in the heart of Bukit Bintang, making it easy to walk to shopping centers like Pavilion KL, restaurants, and nightlife areas.
|* Design:
Features a modern, artistic aesthetic with unique elements like the lobby slide and loft rooms.

| * Lobby Slide: A fun, playful feature that leads to the Moonshot Basement.
| * Communal Lounges: Aesthetically pleasing spaces for guests to relax.
| * Loft Rooms: Offers unique loft-style accommodations.

|* Staff:
Consistently described as friendly and helpful, enhancing the guest experience.
|* Dining:

|Potential Drawbacks|* Cleanliness:
A few recent reviews have pointed out occasional lapses in cleanliness, such as stained bedding.
|* Noise:
Due to its central location, some guests report hearing music or noise from the bustling area at night.
|* Fees:
A tourist tax (RM10 per night) and a cash deposit are required at check-in, which is common for Kuala Lumpur hotels.

❌❌❌ DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. If I could rate a negative for their service, I definitely would. Horrible experience. After booking a hotel at KL multiple times, and I had to write a such a negative review at 6am in the morning - this hotel definitely wins the worse hotel so far. Started the stay in a room with a lingering stench. Worse part is - they also left us the previous customer’s bottle of water. What the hell??? Next , our charger couldn’t fit into their plughole, so we called reception for help immediately. CALLED TWICE, before someone finally came up to assist. In total we waited close to an hour. But they didn’t change any room for us and just told us to use the USB ports instead 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ ??? Is this the right attitude to treat your customer? Regarding the used water bottle - they just shrugged us off with a sorry, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Lastly the WORSE OF THE WORSE, we were catching a flight today at 9am and needed to be at the airport at 7am. How can the hotel reception HAVE NO ONE AROUND?! Is a hotel reception on 24/7? We could not leave as they still had our deposit on hand. The receptionist (Man, quite tall and with glasses) subsequently came down, looking sleepy. If it not were for the security abang, we would definitely have to forgo the deposit and leave. It’s not that we were being calculative, if it were a decent hotel, i would definitely just let them have the deposit. But if it were really a decent hotel, would they reception be empty in the first place?

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.7/5 I stayed at The Nest – Luxurious Studio Loft at MOV Hotel from 20–22 July 2025, and it was such a great experience! The room was spacious, cozy, and felt just like home. I especially loved the huge window with an amazing city view, and the living area was a real highlight—the big sofa was so comfy I could fall asleep on it (and I did!). It made relaxing after a long day feel effortless. Facilities were complete: welcome drinks upon check-in, gym, rooftop pool, and even a foot soak (available upon request). Everything was clean and well-maintained, and I had a really restful sleep throughout my stay. Although I didn’t get the chance to use the gym or pool, they looked great and well-kept. The staff were friendly and helpful—one of them even lent me an umbrella during check-out when it rained. Really thoughtful! The hotel’s location is also perfect: just steps away from Jalan Alor, within walking distance to Pavilion Mall and public transport like the MRT. It’s close to nightlife spots like The Rabbit Hole, where I had a meetup, so the area stays lively until late. There was a bit of music bass noise at night, but it didn’t bother me—I still slept just fine. If I had to nitpick, I’d say I wish the TV were a smart TV so I could enjoy Netflix or YouTube. But that’s a minor thing compared to how much I enjoyed everything else. Overall, I highly recommend MOV Hotel if you’re looking for a stylish and comfortable stay in Bukit Bintang. I’ll definitely be back!
