I recently visited Monster. A garden cafe with high hopes, but my experience was unfortunately far from what I expected. I feel compelled to share my story, as it reflects not only the issues we faced but also the overall lack of professionalism demonstrated by the staff.

During our visit, one of the cats urinated on me and my friend's bag, as well as on the bags of other customers. This was not only distressing but also quite embarrassing. When I approached the staff to report the incident, I anticipated a more thoughtful response. Instead, I was met with indifference. They handed me a plastic bag and a wet tissue, accompanied by a half-hearted "sorry." There was no genuine apology or any offer of assistance to help remedy the situation.

What struck me as particularly troubling was the behavior of the staff members. They were congregated at the cashier area, laughing and chatting amongst themselves, completely oblivious to the distress of the customers affected by the cats' behavior. Not once did they come to check on us or offer any kind of support. This lack of attentiveness is not only unprofessional but also shows a disregard for customer care.

The café seemed more focused on maintaining a casual atmosphere for the staff rather than ensuring a pleasant experience for their patrons. It was disheartening to see young employees prioritize their social interactions over the well-being of the customers who had come to enjoy their time with the cats.

Given the nature of a cat café, it is essential for the staff to be trained in handling such situations with care and responsibility. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling neglected and disappointed. I expected a warm and welcoming environment, especially when interacting with animals, but what I encountered was a lack of basic customer service and professionalism.

I sincerely hope that monster a cafe can take this feedback to heart and work on improving their staff training and customer care protocols. Until then, I cannot recommend this café to fellow cat lovers looking for a...

Bad Experience lol 😂 unplanned destination actually. Pergi the cafe because we were so exhausted of walking around the china town/central market and wanna grab some quick drinks. The cashier explained abt the free seating & rules of petting the cat. Everything were okay but not until when we can’t find a proper table for 7 people so kitorang just follow the “free seating” concept. So bersepah lah kitorg since the cafe didn’t provide table for large group. Then, since I was so thirsty, I order and pay la air while my friend pergi tandas & decide what to drink. Suddenly, The staff/owner datang dekat dgn I, and cakap in this cafe ada rules. Everyone in the group must order 1 air & He told me if i order air for takeaway so everyone kena order takeaway. (Actually i don’t understand this part. What’s wrong if I ambil takeaway drink but duduk dalam the cafe????) Idc about the “rules” đŸ€Ą but the staff could explain nicely about the so called “rules” instead of nak marah2 customer w angry facial expression. I’m your customer and it was my first time coming to yr cafe & the staff should learn more about communication skill w the customer. Honestly, I malu sebab masa tu ramai & the staff boleh je explain baik2 tapi ni nak marah2 ibarat macam nak halau customer. This is my first and last & tak recommend la utk you guys pergi. The cashier and the barista semua friendly & okay cuma the owner or the manager kot (since he did nothing but cari kesalahan customer) je. I ambik matcha latte & sedap sebab pekat & strong but the price mahal sikit sebab kalau you pergi sbux you bayar sikit lagi dah dapat venti size of matcha latte tapi taknak la compare kan harga small business dgn big company. Tapi tulah, malas nak support small business sebab customer service macam đŸ€ź.

To the staff, sebab u punya perangai berlagak dengan customer. Kawan2 I terus tak nak beli and lepas I dapat air everyone keluar from your...

The atmosphere is nice, the place is good. So spacious, not a lot of decorations in the cafe but nice. minimalist gitu. But, this cafe is so hard to find, the sign is so small and is on the second floor.

All of the cats are so cute, playful and friendly. Smell good too. But they have a rule which is doesn't allow us to pick up the cats and also to not give them "our" food. That's understandable.

For the service, i give one star bcs of the staff is not friendly. Doesn't smile to the customer and act cold towards the customer. And, we came yesterday, 6 persons around 5-6 pm. We don't even know that one person needs to buy at least one item bcs there is no entrance fee. We got that, but the girl staff don't explain anything to us until we got in and go to the front to order something. And also, while explaining that thing, the male staff is also so judgy. So kerek lah their staffs. Please learn ya how to treat your customer better. We pay for the food, bukan tak bayar, pastu kerek dengan customer.

For the food, for six persons who needs to buy at least one items per persons. The total was Rm 100.10 FOR SIX PERSONS. And it is just a drinks ya guys, 5 drinks, and one croffle only. I bought the iced chocolate for RM 14 per drink but the taste was so bland? Chocolate milk dutch lady is much more better. The price and the taste is ABSOLUTELY not worth it. We also bought ice matcha. And it's also doesn't worth it. Idk la how or where you guys learn how to make this drink. But pls, do better. The price is so expensive but the taste is bland. SO NOT WORTH IT. The food was good, but the drink needs an improvement like fr.

Will i come back here again? Maybe yes maybe no. If they already improve the taste of their drink and make it worth it as their price is. Then yes. And pls, do improve your customer service. Smile more, be more friendly. Not to kerek kerek with your...

December 22, 2023 @ 1030H Parking: the cafe location has ample of car park available nearby but I personally prefer to go by LRT and MRT (PASAR SENI station). The nearest car park area located about 200m walking distance from the cafe and it required you to walk a little. Don't worry to walk. Bring an umbrella with you in case it's raining. Queue: expect to queue when you arrive at peak hour. Menu: options are simple. We got our favourite nachos and ice cream. Enjoyed ourselves very much. The playground with cats: this cat cafe is my favourite place to visit. My son had great time here. We pat, feed(cat food on sale at RM 5 per portion), play with the cats. Environment: scented incense is lighted up, probably that's a way to reduce the odour Service crew: they are definitely friendly and helpful. Sitting arrangements: hey, the sitting arrangements is designed and carefully arranged so that we can get closer to the cats, that's why it's low at knee level, these tables made us sit on the floor. I feel cool about it. However , if you do not like to be too close with the cats, you can choose higher dining table. I would prefer the low knee level tables. Details: I personally love the soft touch of details that offered by the cafe owner. They understand when you wear darker colours, your clothes will be obviously sticked with loads of cats fur. Come on, if you like a cat, I don't think it's something that need to be worried. Just cats fur. So...the owner provided a sticky roller at the doorstep so that we can clear off the fur before we leave. Isn't that so nice and warm from them. Thank you. We will definitely come back again.
