Had an very horrible and poor experience here. we have been to many cafe's and restaurants and have experienced wonderful service by the staffs but here its totally very poor.
it was tuesday, me and my friends planned to celebrate one of my friends birthday here, earlier in the afternoon we called leaf & co to check whether we need to make a reservation or not for tonight and the staff (sounds like a foreigner) asked us to walk in and they are open until 10 pm.
Me and my friends, we travelled almost 1.5 hours to reach leaf & co (it was quite far) and managed to reached there by 8.55 pm. When we reached there we saw there's board stated "CLOSED", We was soo shocked and waited at the entrance so that we could ask the staff about it. We waited almost 10 minutes, no one approached us even tho they saw us (that moment we knew they are ignoring to serve us).
2 of our friends walk in to the counter and told the staff that we want to dine in, ots the staff replied "our kitchen is closed at 9pm already" in a very rude way. We were like, excuse me we was waiting at the entrance even before 9pm but none of you guys came to us and approached, they were completely ignoring us and they keep giving false reasons to us. No respect to the customer, very rude, not proffesional and they dont even understand what are we telling or asking them. Everyone was very blur.
We was very very dissapointed coz we brought cakes and ballonsn to celebrate my friend just to end up like this. Hopefully they fix their problem next time or update about your closing time and all in google so that other customer will not face...
Read moreWent here to tapau my coffee. Service-wise: very courteous ladies, and attentive waiter too. Very cozy atmosphere (don't worry this isn't one of those noisy cafés), full of vintage items and decorations. You gotta need some luck to find a good parking spot, though since it's in the packed area of Petaling Street.
However, as for the coffee... Can't say I'm impressed. The shot pulled for the long black is weak, especially since it's for iced long black. Usually cafés use double shot as their default shot, but I think here they're using single shot for it and if you wanna add an additional shot, it's RM5 each which is ridiculous since the price is already quite high at RM12 per cup (for hot cafe latte), and RM 15 (for iced cafe latte and iced long black)...which is a shame considering the beans that they used were actually good (got hints of floral and citrusy flavors from my smooth cafe latte). The cafe latte is good though.
So economy-wise, if I were to spend rm17+ for a cuppa to be decent, I might as well spend it somewhere else that already has double shot as their default without extra charge at much less of their price.
Presentation-wise, it's average. My suggestion is that they use a better-quality cup or something especially for the iced beverages for more stability and security to hold on.
I have no comment for the foods since I didn't order any, but I did took a few pictures of them and I think they all look delish!
Overall, it's a very nice place to chill, take pictures, have some privacy, enjoy nice service and maybe do your work outside of office, but not exactly for coffee...
Read moreThe foods were very good in taste, portion size and pricing. Got the Spaghetti with Crispy Chicken Chop. The spaghetti has lot of mushrooms and cooked well, just in the menu it was said that it’s creamy pesto based sauce, but the pesto taste was not quite there. The chicken chop served with it is crispy and the sauce is Sriracha mayo, but the side salad was fantastic, freshly served with balsamic vinaigrette.
Satay was big and used very juicy and tender chicken cubes, satay sauce was decent but can be a bit too sweet. Belgium Milk Chocolate was so chocolatey and the Salted Egg Croissant was filled with so much sweet and salty salted egg sauce, and the pastry itself was soft and flaky. Lemonade was fizzy and very refreshing.
Service was great too despite coming very late for iftar at 7pm and all of the tables are full except one for both of us. I’m surprised that the food came up quite fast despite the late order. Only the drinks came later after the foods arrived. But one of the waiter accidentally inputted our salted egg croissant order for the chicken satay when we didn’t order one. He apologised for his mistake and said he was willingly to pay the satay, but we refused and said we will pay for it. He courteously said thank you and appreciate for the kindness. Even other waiters came to us, apologised for the mistake and offered discount for the satay.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Great food especially the portion, and impeccable service. Only I didn’t manage to picture the interior as my table was next to the entrance. Will I come again? For...
