Pricewise and restaurant looks is similar to other restaurants nearby. Not cheap for a roadside improper restaurant but reasonable considering it is made to order. But I like this restaurant more because they serve baby brinjal ulam. Pro tip, order cuttlefish singgang instead of fish. Don’t forget to order fried boiled fish, beef tongue masak merah, kerabu kaki ayam and kerabu pucuk paku. Never order tomyam or big fish like siakap. Reserve that for tomyam restaurant. Yes the restaurant can be full and busy which may translate to a bad service however if you want the order fast, ask for a pen and a piece of paper from the counter and write...

They serve bawal, siakap and ketam cooked in 8 different ways and also other types of seafood like squid and prawns as curries. The whole alley is decked with stores which sell pretty much the same menu and are of similar set up as well. Seating is available indoor and outdoor with plastic tables and chairs under giant umbrellas. I liked it, the fish was well cooked but didn't really catch the third flavor of the tiga rasa haha. The ginger tea was awesome, caught a huge piece of ginger hiding in it. Anyway, it was nice (I did see a rat walking nearby in the background tho but it just added to the...

So it tastes watered down. Ulam is good, they have a good selection of ulam. Prut bulat bakar is quite good. Their ikan singgang is the best. I love the balance of taste - sweet, sour,...
