**Review: Delightful Indian Dining at Sheraton Kuala Lumpur** My wife and I, both ardent fans of Indian vegetarian cuisine, found ourselves at an absolute gem of a restaurant nestled on the second floor of the Sheraton Kuala Lumpur. Our dining experience at this Indian restaurant was nothing short of spectacular. **Food: A Vegetarian Paradise** The menu boasted an impressive variety of dishes, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Standouts included the fried corn, which my wife couldn't get enough of despite it being a tad too salty for my taste, the refreshingly creamy mango lassi, the uniquely flavored beetroot raita, and the spicy yet refreshing jalapeno margarita. Each dish was a delightful journey of flavors, staying true to the rich and diverse culinary traditions of India. **Service: Exemplary and Personalized** The service was top-notch, thanks to our wonderful hosts, Preethy and Pinthu. Their attentiveness and genuine interest in enhancing our dining experience were evident from the moment we walked in. They offered insightful recommendations, asked thoughtful follow-up questions to gauge our preferences, and ensured that every item we ordered was served perfectly. Despite our rather extensive order, they didn't miss a single detail, making our dining experience seamless and thoroughly enjoyable. **Location: A Hidden Gem** For those who might struggle to find it, head to the second floor of the Sheraton hotel. Pass the security guards, take the elevator up, and follow the charming elephant decor to your destination. The journey adds a bit of an adventurous touch to the overall experience. **Ambiance: Funky and Fun** While some reviews criticized the decor as tacky, we found it to be quite the opposite. The vibrant and playful decor added a fun and funky vibe to the restaurant, making it a lively and inviting space to enjoy a meal. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. In summary, this Indian restaurant at the Sheraton Kuala Lumpur is a must-visit for anyone who loves Indian vegetarian cuisine. With its delectable food, outstanding service, and unique ambiance, it promises a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a local or a traveler, make sure to add this place to your list.

We went over for lunch to this lovely restaurant after seeing a review on Instagram. The place is amazing but clearly needs some modernisation done. The interior looks shabby and outdated eventhough located in heart of KL Walking into the Sheraton hotel lobby, one can immediately sense that there seems to be a damp issue, leaving a pungent, damp, stale smell. As we walked in, I couldn't help wondering if this even meets health and safety regulations. (Long-term respitory issues, etc) Clearly, ventilation could have been improved to ensure a much better atmosphere. Seems like we were walking into a scene from a spooky horror movie, deserted, damp, and ancient outdated decor all around. The concierge staff were helpful in directing us towards Cholas, which was on the 2nd floor. We were informed by the staff that there wasn't a buffet available as it was a public holiday, but we could have a North Indian Thali instead. The food was good. The Jackfruit biryani was delicious. As for Cholas ( the restaurant sign board still reads Cholas Spice Kitchen), no complaints, the food, the staff, and the set up is welcoming and very authentic. The staff makes the whole experience wonderful despite the few setbacks mentioned previously. Great vegan and vegetarian food is served here. The whole place takes one back to Purana Delhi or old times in Delhi. The hotel is situated in the city, parking is ample and this restaurant is located on the 2nd floor. Friendly and knowledgeable staff members who are very attentive to the customer's dietry needs. Highly recommended but at ones own health needs and discretion with regards to the dampness in the whole building. Besides, the overall hotel, set up, damp issues.... we decided to go ahead and enjoy our day out. Thank you, Pinto and team, for your amazing customer service.

The biggest thali in Malaysia!!! I have mixed feelings about the food so I will share both positive and negative aspects of it. Negative - 1. Food is not so authentic in taste and quantity of each dish is very less 2. The price is too high looking at the things we get in Thali 3. For vegetarian there are very less option in Thali. There was only one Paneer Items i.e. Palak Paneer. In most of the dishes you can find only potatoes 4. The service is not so good as I have to go out of room to call the waiter. They should have some button to ring the bell 5. They bring everything like Naan, roti, Laccha parantha together and the time they take to prepare the Thali they all not be hot anymore Positive - 1. Ambience and interior decorations are royal enough to make you feel that you are at some extraordinary place. The fact it's in Sheraton hotel makes it even more royal 2. The thail is biggest in Malaysia and I loved the way they presented the Thali and esp. their pineapple tikka 3. The coconut Lassi is too good Summary: If you want to tick off this biggest Thali from your list then enjoy and if you are looking for good authentic food in less price there are plenty of other Indian restaurant which offers good authentic Indian food in much less price. Like Mr. Naan and Mrs. Idli, Namaste India etc.

During our stay @ Sheraton Imperial KL , we tried the Cholas on the 2nd floor of the property. It is a culinary gem that offers an authentic Indian dining experience.

The menu at The Cholas is an impressive North Indian dishes, and each dish is crafted with attention to detail. We started our meal with the chaat & bhel. For the main course, we had Kulcha platter & dal bukhara fondue, which was a standout dish. It was cooked to perfection.

We ended our dinner with chai that made us feel at Home , Something which we couldn't find in our 4 days trip..a Good Kadak Chai. The real Desi Chai.

Manish was an excellent GRE who took our orders. And the Chef was kind enough to cook for our friend even after the closing hours. The service at The Cholas was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend dishes based on our preferences. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable, making it great value for the quality and authenticity of the food.

The Cholas offers a great selection of vegetarian dishes. The food is comforting ..

Overall, our experience at The Cholas was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of flavorful dishes, excellent service, and a cozy atmosphere made it one of the best Indian dining experiences we've had in Malaysia. We would highly recommend The Cholas to anyone looking to enjoy authentic...
