Today 08.07.2025, Went here for my lunch, ordered a "sizzling chicken + spaghetti ".

During ordering, waitress (the girl with long pony tail) did not told that spaghetti was bolognese sauce or cabonara nor was I being told what type of sauce (black pepper / mushroom) in the sizzling chicken. (Not written in the menu)

When food came, notice the mushroom sauce was being serve, i then requested to change the mushroom to black pepper and the waitress and the cashier (lady with makeup) scolded me for not telling them.

Hello, you did not write in your menu nor you informed me, now you blaming me for not notifying you when I asked so many question to your waitress. The cashier even threatened me to charge double for cooking a new one 🧐. Saying her staff have to bear the cost for recooking.

1st I asked I want the bolognese sauce for spaghetti. Then your waitress rudely reply saying the spaghetti is bolognese, then why your staff did not mention sizzling chicken comes with sauce.

2nd no written info was there in the menu , no picture to show what type of " sizzling chicken sauce or spaghetti sauce" .

Even a hawker shop will write whether is black Pepper or mushroom.

Disappointed by the rude cashier and waitress.

(Is your job as a waitress to inform your customer, you are trained/paid to do that, I (customer ) am not train to understand your menu, that is your role as the worker to do your task. ... such disappointment. ....

Extremely Disappointing Dining Experience

I honestly don’t understand how Mojo in KL has so many good reviews. My recent visit was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Lamb Shank: Completely inedible. The meat was so hard, dark, and dry it reminded me of salted dried fish rather than a freshly cooked lamb shank. The sauce was overwhelmingly salty, masking any flavor it was supposed to have.

Fish & Chips: Another huge letdown. The batter was rock hard and the fish inside tasted no better than cheap frozen supermarket fish. Definitely not what you expect when ordering a classic dish.

Overall, the food quality was shocking for the price and reputation this place carries. It makes me seriously question how they are getting so many “good” reviews. Mojo is definitely not a place I’ll ever return to, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for...

Came here to try out their lunch menu today. Advise to come early as it gets very crowded. Staff were super friendly and cheeky 😆 welcomed us warmly ☺️ The place was quite cool and the vibe really good. Plants decorated nicely.

They have special lunch sets from Monday - Friday with a drink included. Today was Thai chicken rice - spicy with a little kick. Looks more like malay dish chicken paprika than Thai style ya. But it was good 😌 The carbonara pasta really yummy , very creamy. Not to pricey, happy for our OL purse 🙊

Loved the drinks so much - the ice lemon tea super refreshing and it helped to chill us down in this hot weather. If they can nail a simple ice lemon tea, I am looking forward to try their other drinks 🍹 Definitely will...
