Had cravings for seafood and found this place. It is not particularly busy and if you are driving, there are ample parking space. There are rows and rows of seafood in fish tanks to choose your seafood. They are as fresh as they can be. Prices are a little steep but no more expensive than other establishments similar to it. Think South Sea near Subang airport and you will get my drift. I had the Lambang Patin just simply steamed. These fantastic beasts are caught wild and therefore, have no muddy taste to their flesh and even the stomach taste clean and fresh. It was steamed to perfection.
The Scottish live clam is like a giant scallop. They are pricey but one is big enough to feed two persons. However, problem with a scallop is that it can be easily turn rubbery if overcooked and it is too darn easy to overcooked one. I had mine steamed with minced garlic and it was divine. Next up was fried bittergourd with salted vegetables. This may sound like a rather humble dish but it is easy to screw this up if the salted vegetables is too salty or bittergourd is too bitter but once again the chef impressed us with a well executed dish. The bittergourd just had bitterness to remind you it is a bittergourd but not enough to leave it on your palate and it went very well with the salted vegetables that was not too salty and the little chilli padi was just enough to pull the two together. I loved this dish.
For the grand finale, I had the Indonesian Meat Crab done in their signature style....fried in salted egg yolk. They are really meaty and the salted egg yolk is creamy and thick if you like it the KL style. Have it with a little chilli padi to cut through the richness and it was lovely. Final damage was about RM250 per pax which I think is ok. It would be a higher if you touch the lobster.

I visited this restaurant for dinner on 31 March 2024 specially after hearing good reviews from my local friends when i asked for recommendation for seafood place during my holiday tour to kl.
As i was assigned a table near to the washroom entrance, i politely spoke to Penny, the restaurant manager, for a possibility to change to a corner table away from the washroom.. she retorted loudly and rudely “ today full house cannot change table”. Taking her word for it, i decided to continue with my dinner order since i have travelled down specially.
I was served by a waitress Tina. She was extremely polite and patient to take my order and to recommend nice seafood dishes for us to try out. She took extra care to ensure we didnt over order by telling us to eat first then add if needed.. indeed the food was delicious and just enough for the three of us. In the end my bill totalled myr 1300 but i felt the food was well worth the value.
Nonetheless, throughout my whole dining duration ( even after i have completed the meal), the restaurant was nowhere near full capacity and the corner table i have requested wasnt occupied at all.
It is indeed highly disappointing and dismal that a restaurant manager who is supposed to be the role model and leader to the team, will instead provide such rude and lazy service to customers. It is high time that the management takes a serious view to such lustre service standards and up their ante.
Otherwise it is indeed a pity that one seafood will lose loyal customers and visitors despite it serving...
Read moreMy family and I had dinner on Sept 30, 2022. We expected to have a wonderful dinner at your seafood restaurant but unfortunately got really disappointed.
We were surprised to find out that the Steamed 1.8kg Australia lobster was taste bitter. Children rejected the lobster after first bite! The taste was very distinct.
The manager was not accepting my feedback and I suggested her to taste. She explained rudely said never has such complaint about their lobster, maybe chef had added too much “ Shaoxing Wine” and she can’t do anything!
When serving the lobster and informed us last minute that they can’t serve the whole Lobster with head as she promised.
Your lady manager treated us poorly and inconsiderately. Shame on you for treating customers like you did. This bad experience ruined our special family occasion that We had spent about RM2700++ at your restaurant.
I am hoping that you will look into the matter and instruct your staff to behave more hospitably and listen to customer...
