Spice Garden — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

A dine out with my wife and expat colleagues. Firstly the waiter who attended to us was rude when we arrived, but later when mu expat friends arrived, things got different, service turned to be polite. North indian to a south indian attitude. Well we were well served. Im my earlier reservation, they refused to get me a place inside the restaurant after my expat colleagues arrived, they offered us a table inside. A foreign indian owner of this restaurant doing business here playing double standards to a citizen here. Well, play that game in your own home country. I dont tolerate with your damn attitude. You think you are holier than thou!

We ordered our food, few items got missed. The waiter thought he had everything in his head without writing down our orders. Food was horrible, even their beverages. Chairs were dragged by other waiters making so much noise while we were chatting. If you cant improve. Learn from your next door rival. They are good in their food and hospitality. I recently visited Spice Garden, and while the experience was alright, it didn’t quite stand out.

The food was decent—not bad, but not particularly excellent either. The flavors were there, but nothing truly wowed me. The service, however, was good. The staff was attentive, polite, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal.

The biggest downside was the ambience. It lacked the warmth and appeal that would make dining here a more enjoyable experience. The setting could definitely use some improvement to match the level of service they provide.

Overall, Spice Garden is an okay choice if you’re looking for decent food and good service, but if atmosphere matters to you, there are better...

I’ll start with the soup which was awful if I was the restaurant manager i would take it out of the menu right away. Chicken Tandoori was only okay no special taste just a well bbq chicken not much flavour, cheese garlic Nan was really good, palak paneer was awful so bad that I didn’t even eat more than one bite when I asked the waiter about it they gave me a 10% discount, Mutton roghan josh was just okay no special taste or flavour full it was just OKAY, Biriyani rice was so tasteless no seasoning or any special taste, it was white rice with some colour, over all I was not happy with the food compare the other places I have tried this foods this was just okay and the last place.
