Right in front of Pasar Seni station, and entrance to the Chinatown area, this place looks like a Chinese tea house. But all of their foods menu are infused with many different types of tea.
Our order: Oolong Chic-kuh-teh Long Jing Lei Cha Noodle Curry puff Cold Oolong Mango Hot red dates chrysanthemum tea
Oolong Chic-Kuh-Teh One of my favorite Malaysian foods is Bak-Kuh-Teh. And this dish enhanced it up to another level. Green vegetable and mushrooms are nice touch as texture and ingredients. Chicken was cooked so tender and juicy and peel off easily from the bones. The soup is so good that I could finish drinking all. They also offered a bowl of tea rice. You can pour the soup over the rice and make a little porridge yourself. This is a 5 star dish. I would go back for this many times!
Long Jing Lei Cha Noodle Completely different flavor from the chick-teh-soup. It is a very earthy flavor which reminds me of Japanese mugwort. It is actually hot noodle dish, not cold. Broccoli and corn are good touch to hold the flavor well. And my wife loved fried taro stick and perfectly al dente noodles. It was also 5 stars dish and I have never tried this flavor anywhere. I would say this should be a must-try item here for its novelty.
Curry puff Fluffy dough and hot curry filling. Curry itself was a little spicy for me, but the size of it was just enough to enjoy the heat before finishing it. So if you are pretty weak to spiciness, order this one instead of curry entree dish. If you like this, you can challenge the big curry dish as well.
Oolong mango Mango is strong flavor and oolong tea works as a base favor with a little bit bitterness to it. Definitely more for adult than kids, but the flavor is well balanced and great choice right after walking around Chinatown area for long.
Red dates chrysanthemum tea Another 5 star item from here. My image of chrysanthemum tea is usually very subtle. But this tea has a quite strong flavor with red dates sweetness mixed together. The shop is cooled down with air-conditioning, and the tea was served with a small fire on the bottom. So in the end of your meal, the warmth of the tea soothe your body and soul.
I would recommend this place to tea lovers and travelers who love something new. To me there is no doubt about their uniqueness, and it’s very much...
Read morePassed by many times and got attracted by their outdoor design. Decided to try it and ordered the curry noodles set lunch. Strategic location close to the MRT pasar seni within 5 minutes walk.
Food: It was pretty impressive. I like the taste and it was full with chicken slices and real. Honestly, I can’t really taste any tea in it. It boosted my mood a lot, good food and good mood. Set lunch came along with a drink and their tea was slightly too bitter for me.
Service: The staffs were all in a rush and they tends to talk really loud and dishes were being served in a hurry and I got scared by them most of the time.
Atmosphere: it is conducive but lunch time tends to be very crowded and I have some difficulty in looking for a good space. I ended up sitting near to the kitchen and watching the staffs walking most of the time which is kind of annoying.
Only giving out 3 stars overall due to...
Read moreDecent place with cozy and comfortable ambience. Service was good, and the tea and drinks were very satisfying. Would like to visit again with loved ones. That surrounding area is always full of people and diverse happening, but this place, solely situated with peacuful ambience, indeed. It was first time visit and every product and drink was really intriguing, and stimulates curiosity. Wish I could have purchased one of the best puer tea products there, but due to its high end quality, it is quite expensive. One of the products, which has 7-8 diffrent time period, was RM13,500, but quite understandable for its quality. Therefore, having one cup of tea or drink, is really something unique and decent experience, for anyone who'd like to have peaceful moment in hectic city life....
