Restoran Cinnamon (Santorini Mediterranean Bar & Grill) — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

This restaurant is downstairs at Berjaya Times Square. It fronts Jalan Imbi & is all glass & chrome. The menu is comprehensive (see pictures) but pricey compared to other eating houses in the vicinity. The prices are also subject to a 10% service charge & 6% government taxes. This is a common feature in Malaysia where the government also imposed a 10 Ringit per night hotel room tax from 1 January 2023. I ordered Chicken Picata which came as a reasonable portion. The meal did lack flavour apart from the pepper mixed within the spaghetti. It could have benefitted from perhaps a little more salt? I am not a chef & if this is Santorini's take on Chicken Picata who am I to criticise! I ate early so the atmosphere was basically non existant which is a shame given the glitz of the premise. I chose to eat inside in the air conditioned comfort but there are a significant amount of plush chairs & tables outside in relative shelter from from the elements. We went there yesterday for a spontanous dinner. After we have found it (its renamed to "Cinnamon") :-) I ate the Paeela de Marisco, my wife the Chicken Piccata. And the Paella was one of the best I have ever had, incl. the ones in Spain.The taste was absolutely perfect, I can highly recommend this.The Chicken Piccata was very nice too, we took with "normal" spice level and its great. Cinnamon at Berjaya Times Square is an absolute gem! I had the best Caesar salad I’ve had in KL so far, and the pizza was perfect—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The lychee martini was to die for; I even had to order a second one!

The atmosphere is wonderful, making it ideal for a lovely date night—I had a fantastic evening with my husband.
