Thinking to beat the crowd, I made my way here at 9.45am. But early bird doesn't always catch the worms as the deep-fried chicken was not cooked yet. No choice but to sit patiently and wait amidst a swarm of lively houseflies. The wait was over after 20 minutes. The lady boss (assuming she is one of the owners) motioned to me to place my order at the food counter. Since it was my first visit, I've decided to be greedy and ordered a thigh each of the deep-fried and poached chicken, plus a side of giblets and rice. All these for RM 27.5. There were 3 kinds of dipping sauces you can help yourself to - chilli, dark soy and char siew. But no minced ginger sauce. The poached chicken was delectable, perfectly cooked till the right tenderness. The deep-fried chicken had a very crispy and not overly thick coating of batter. Although I normally have a good tolerance for saltiness, the deep-fried chicken still tasted too salty for me. The lady boss was friendly. The eatery was not busy at the time so she struck up a casual conversation with me. The meal was delicious but I can’t say the same for the dining environment. I didn't spot any electric fans so I could imagine how it would feel when the place gets packed and the weather is hot. And to top that up, I haven't seen so many flies circling around...

Second time here . Acc friend come to try their famous fried chicken rice .

Fried chicken thigh rice at Rm15 . Totally overpriced . If is 12 will be better .

For me, this is not a place I will come at all. The crispy fried chicken thigh quite tender but have a bit weird taste . Luckily it served hot , if not I guess I won’t eat it .

To be honest , the batter skin of chicken is very crispy but the taste is just so so . Very blend . And abit greasy at the end .

The chili is really bad . Personally prefer stronger and sour taste for the chili . It’s not refreshing at all.

This chicken rice is acceptable . nothing to complaint or shout out . Just another chicken rice .

The service is quite bad and rude . Feel like can’t ask any question at all .

But I have to highlight that their Kopi C less sugar is great ! 9/10 ! Superb kaw have superb thick foam .

If you pass by please try the kopi . For the chicken I have...

Place is famous for their fried chicken rice so ordered that with a portion of char siu.

Rice was fragant with a strong taste of ginger but was too wet and too oily.

Fried chicken was undeniably very crispy but the chicken was almost tasteless with only trace amounts of blackpepper flavour occassionally. Also, if you dont like chewing on chunks of SOFT cornstarch batter, i would NOT recommend it. I do have to mention that the chicken was perfectly cooked as it was quite juicy.

Charsiu was good. Meat was tender with just enough chew. Sauce wasnt overly sweet. However, upon leaving, I saw the lady licking her fingers with the serving gloves on so that was repulsive. She served me this dish with the same pair of gloves!

The lady selling the fried chicken rice wasnt friendly at all. I would say she was borderline rude. The guy selling the drinks was...

from the outside, it looks like any other usual coffee shop but once you step in, you’ll be greeted with the smell & aroma of this cuisine. this is not your regular chicken rice cuisine that you’ll see everywhere. this one is a special fried chicken rice, similar to the usual chicken rice but the main component has to be the fried chicken itself. honestly, this is the best fried chicken in town, crunchy, juicy, moist, succulent & topped with some crunchy bits & gravy along with steamed rice. you can also add on some other dishes as well & for a reasonable price of this meal, it’s really worth it. due to its strategic location, this place is always crowded during lunch hours.
