THERE WAS A HUGE HAIR IN THE FOOD!!

WAITER NAME: N.DEVAKUMAR

We ordered 2 uttapams and one of it came with a huge and long black hair sticking out of the food. When we pointed out, the waiter (devakumar) argued with us so rudely saying it was coconut flake and told us to eat it. When we asked him to bring us a new one, he took the plate and came back a few seconds later and brought the SAME UTTAPAM WITH THE SAME HAIR STICKING OUT! We told him you brought the same thing and he argued again saying this is a different one and my sister picked the hair out and showed him and without saying anything he went back to kitchen. We called another waiter and told him its hair and he saw it and agreed it was hair and took it back. Devakumar did not apologise, in fact, no one apologised to us. We cancelled that other uttapam and only had one. IMAGINE HOW DISGUSTING THIS PLACE IS WHEN THEY BRING YOU FOOD WITH BIG HAIR ON IT AND WHEN YOU TELL THEM TO BRING ANOTHER ONE, THEY BRING THE SAME DISGUSTING ONE AGAIN WITH BIG HAIR ON IT! THEY NEVER CHANGED IT AND THEY PROBABLY GAVE THAT SAME UTTAPAM TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER!!! I HAVE ATE HERE SO REGULARLY BUT WILL NEVER RETURN!

I have been traveling many countries past 20 years and have been experiencing many delicacies in many restaurants. Saravana Bhawan is one such favorite restaurant which I experienced in Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, Delhi, Chennai, etc.

Today when I went to have the same experience, in KL Sentral location, I was shocked to see the food quality. I have attached few images and small video which I took including the bill.

I have requested for special meals as suggested by the waiter and felt so bad, but made an attempt to eat as much.

The vada was so hard when enquired, the supplier says it's of afternoon, which I doubt. The sweet, I am sure might have not been made from ghee, or may be some low grade one.

I am feeling sad, on the part of the owner who built this brand with so much passion, to explain here that this was the worst experience which I had to go through, rather disappointing one.

I am sharing here because I am sure it will reach the owner and they take the corrective measure to re-establish the customer trust

Excellent food and service made this a great random choice. Excellent range of vegetarian dishes and the breads are especially good. Prices are reasonable, the three of us were very (need to walk for a while) full for RM90. Good place to have vegetarian food. Good Indian, South Indian food. Saravana bhavan is a household name in India for standards and good foods. Their coffee and tea set standards for others to follow as well as sambhar. The place in kl is small and gets crowded in evenings and weekends. Service is good but a wait is there for the food to be prepared. This gets further delayed when crowds get more For people out of india craving for a good quality, tasty and life satisfying food, this is the place. Santhanam solra maadiri, "coffee kudichitu vecha maadiri irukanum" type one will be served here but that's totally enough for all coffee freaks. I wonder how HSB serves the same tasty sambar all over the world for so many decades. Forget about the cost and...
