SEVEN Lobby Bar — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I considered myself as an avid traveler that have visited places and have come across various level of services throughout the world but the guest service experience given by the team in “Ruma Seven Lobby Bar” remains in my heart. The team’s attention to details to my needs and their sincereness of serving their customer is second to none, I felt genuinely pampered with all the little things that I have experienced in the bar and friendships that had been forged with the team.

The aesthetics of the bar is gorgeous, delivering simplicity as the theme and the lighting during the night was just perfect for the guest to be relaxed and comfortable in the spot coupled with the locally crafted cocktails which elevated the “Malaysia” experience and unique differentiation of Ruma Seven comparing to other bars in Kuala Lumpur.

Ruma Seven bar truly stood out in my book, if you are looking for services in a class of its own, unique crafted gin drinks, comfortable atmosphere, I highly recommend you make your way here and be indulge in an experience that will make your memories unforgettable. As a matter of fact, Ruma is my go-to hotel and I have never failed to visit the bar each and every time I visited.

Fabulous bar with stunning drinks!!

I was staying at this hotel recently, and I and my partner popped in to this bar for their Lunar New Year specials. We sampled 4 drinks over 2 nights, and each was really awesome!

The anchor drinks were Kaya Raya and The Oriental. Both were prepared with their own Pandan syrup (first time I’ve heard of it). It looked really clear, but was rich with coconut and Pandan flavours. My favourite was kaya Raya, which was a tad milky but with extremely smooth and full texture.

There’s also the Tropical Jade, with an exquisite balance of pineapple and lemon. The gin is subtly peeking out from the overall citrusy taste. Absolutely refreshing!!

The Oriental was less milky, but came with a spoonful of Pandan caviar that reminded me of salmon roe. They do pop in the mouth too!! It’s less strong than Kaya Raya, so if you like a clearer drink, this can be your choice.

The Assam boy gin (aka ABG) showcased Malaysian gin. It was a smooth and gentle gin, with the taste well balanced with tonic water. It’s very easy to drink, so if you are not great with gin, this can be another great selection!!

I visited The RuMa Hotel two weeks ago after seeing a post on Xiaohongshu saying that they having a special afternoon tea promotion — buy one free one if you wear traditional attire. I never been to this hotel before, so I decided to give it a try.

The restaurant was a bit small, but cozy and relaxing. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was excellent, all the staff were so friendly and welcoming.

That day, my friend accidentally dropped her IC without realizing it. Later evening, we received a call and message from a staff member named Qimi, inform us that she had found it and ask us come back to collect it. She even kindly reminded us to take care of our belongings. 😄
