Zanmai @ Gardens gave me a very bad experience. Went there with my colleagues for lunch because it's close to where we work. I ordered Chicken Katsu Curry and added extra curry and this may have been my own issue for not knowing that there was an extra surcharge of rm5+ for extra curry. I don't know what kind of curry they use but maybe it's made with gold flakes. My colleague ordered without extra curry and when both the plates came, it didn't look different at all and I couldn't even tell which 1 had more curry. At that point, I actually forgot that I asked for extra curry so I just had the meal. I even swapped the curry with my friend because of how they served the curry to us because his finger was in the curry and my colleague didn't mind so he swapped with me. If one had extra curry then I would've known that the serving was for me but they both looked the same so we swapped it unknowingly.
I also ordered Karrage by myself but the karrage only came after I finished my meal. I told the server that if the Karrage wasn't ready then I would like to cancel it then 5 seconds later they served me the karrage. It wasn't even hot anymore so I can only assume that it was left out for a bit already and it didn't taste like karrage. Just don't order it.
My final verdict is just don't go. The experience was not good and the food was not...
Read moreThe Restaurant Staff are such gems! The Host and (what I assume to be the) Superviser were absoulte gentlemen. We were there prior to Buka Puasa and they carefully orchestrated production of the meals in time with Buka Puasa. Thus hot food came piping Hot and cold food were nice and freshly cool.
The food was of good quality too, and the 3 of us had a quite a number of them. Most of not all were good if not excellent.
Throughout the Buka Puasa, they kept asking us we are enjoying our food (we did! It was yummy) and if they can get us anything. I loved this special touch of service the most. In F&B Service, attentiveness is one of the most important factors contributing to a good experience. I am so sorry I did not take their names (2 Chinese Gent and 1 who may be of Middle Eastern/North Asian descent), but they were so good. Kudos to them an dth elevel of training your company provides to your team.

After I was almost finished with my main. They brought out her main; which was the wrong order. (We pointed at what we wanted to order). Did not apologise and said oh we will change your order. We were then later told the waiter was new. So I said no problems. Ididn't receive any apology from the waiter though. 30 Minutes after (according to the receipt) the meal swap. My partner's food still did not come. That was my limit. I asked to see the manager and asked him what he's plan was when they made a mistake with orders. "Shouldn't you apologise and acknowledge that you were wrong and prioritise my order?"..He couldn't answer and instead kept giving me the excuse of. "Oh maybe they forgot to make your food that's why it took so long"...
