If you’re hoping to have a meal with TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and DINING EXPERIENCE, please head to this restaurant. We weren't aware of it, but there appears to be a remark in the menu of a no-sharing rules and a free refill policy for some drinks. My family and I were unaware of this. We were about to buy a second drink, but one of their staff members told me that I could have a refill for free and didn't need to purchase. My family members did sip from my drink throughout our lunch, and no one came to inform us that there is a no-sharing policy. I tried to refill the drink before leaving the restaurant, but a very obnoxious male service member told me that I couldn't refill because I had already shared it. When I admitted that I was unaware of the sharing ban, he reacted angrily, saying, "saya dah tengok you share minum dengan family," and simply left as I was still speaking. My dissatisfaction is why the service member didn't immediately inform me that I couldn't share when he observed me doing so instead of making an accusatory statement that suggested I was sneakily sharing the drink with my family. EXCUSE ME, but I just spent MORE THAN RM100 on lunch, and I could DEFINITELY SPEND MORE ON MY DRINK. PLEASE TEACH YOUR STAFF HOW TO TREAT PAYING CUSTOMERS. If I can't get a refill, that's OK, but speaking rudely about it in front of other customers and ruining our lunch is UNACCEPTABLE! NEVER STEPPING INTO THIS...
Read morePreviously a Pork Roast and Char Siew Haven, Now a Disappointment
This establishment was once renowned for its exceptional pork roast and char siew, drawing patrons from far and wide. However, those days are long gone.
While the restaurant still offers a variety of other dishes, the absence of its signature pork offerings is a crushing blow. The pork roast, once tender and flavorful, is now a distant memory. The char siew, once crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside, has vanished without a trace.
The remaining dishes, while adequate, fail to live up to the former glory of this establishment. The once-vibrant atmosphere has given way to a sense of disappointment.
For those who remember the days when this restaurant served some of the best pork roast and char siew in the area, the current state of affairs is a bitter pill to swallow. It is a sad reminder of what was once a culinary gem, now reduced to a shadow of its former self.
Overall, this restaurant is a major disappointment. While it may still offer some passable dishes, the loss of its signature pork offerings has irrevocably diminished its appeal. Those seeking a truly exceptional pork roast or char siew experience are advised to...
Read moreReminiscence of my lunch joint many years ago, and decided to give it a shot. Their portion is huge and the super big cup size really not a joke. I am not sure if it was as busy like before (you need to line up during lunch) or was it because I went during the school holiday.
Hong Kong style joint with fast service, and their milk tea and ice lemon tea is a must try. Their dishes even for lunch is made to order and not cook in batches or microwave.
My favourite used to be the pumpkin fried rice with pork chop. But it doesn't taste as good as previously. I barely can find more than 2 cubes of pumpkin, but I like that the rice is fried with dried shrimp. The pork chop is so tender, but the tomato sauce on top of it, not so much of my liking.
The fried noodles (Meehoon and tanghoon) still taste as good as before.
They don't mind if you take away if you can't...
