We stopped by Makan Nyonya at Estadia Hotel for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the dishes. The restaurant has a quiet, comfortable vibe—great for a midday break from the Melaka heat.

We ordered a few familiar favourites: the fried dumplings were crispy and served piping hot. The satay was tender and came with a rich, flavorful peanut sauce. The highlight for me was the curry chicken—fragrant, creamy, and just the right amount of spice. The fish maw soup was hearty and comforting, perfect to go with rice.

To end off, we shared a bowl of chendol. Refreshing and not overly sweet, it had a nice punch of gula melaka and soft pandan jelly.

All in all, a satisfying Nyonya lunch with authentic flavours and decent portions—worth a visit if you’re staying nearby or craving a classic...

Breakfast at Estadia Hotel’s Makan Nyonya was modest, with a limited buffet spread featuring local and Western staples, a bread station, live egg station, and drink counter. The best picks were the basics—toast, eggs, cereal, and drinks—which were reliable and satisfying. Cooked dishes looked appealing but tasted below average, making them skippable unless you're just after convenience. For hotel guests with breakfast included, it’s a fuss-free start to the day. But if you're paying RM 35 (Adult) or RM 28 (Child) as a non-guest, you might be better off exploring Melaka’s vibrant breakfast scene outside. ⏰ Breakfast hours:...

Coming here after a long day was like witnessing the second coming… a warm and overwhelming embrace upon entering… Tears ran from my eyes…

Upon taking the first bite… dear god… as if angels were guiding the every movement if my utensils… The food inspires emotion like no other… Such happiness for being able to dine here… grief for those that will never experience this godly restaurant…

There is no shame in gluttony in a place like this…

A divine establishment… Every person must visit at least once… life will change…

Thank you, Makan Nonya at Estadia Hotel...
