Puteh Rooftop Bar — Restaurant in Malacca

Hi, my visit to Puteh rooftop bar was nice both the times I visited. But the second time when I visited there was this one thing that bothered me. Before I go into that the customer service there was awesome. When I entered the premise I asked whether I can get a place where I can smoke and I was told that the whole alfresco was smoke free. As I’m finishing my bottle of wine I saw two of the guests who were dining was smoking near my table (near the cigar display). They were not alerted I guess. But as I am watching that, I still went to the designated smoking area as my bottle of wine is done. If there’s a leniency in the smoking policy please let us know. I don’t mind going to the smoking zone but if it doesn’t apply to all why have it in the first place isn’t it. Came here about 2 months ago and really enjoyed the food and ambience. Tasty food and chilled ambience. Decided to go back there today and was very disappointed with the menu! Ordered fries, Spinach and Cream Cheese pizza and Connors.. and the waitress came back and said they didn’t have the Spinach and Cream Cheese Pizza. So we order the Smoked Salmon Pizza. Then she comes back and says they don’t have the Salmon Pizza and Connors. 🤦🏽‍♀️ we order a Buttered Lemon Green spaghetti and she again comes back and says it is not available. 🤦🏽‍♀️ we then order a Margheta Pizza and we finally get our food! I had the pleasure of being served by Yamuna during my visit to the Eco Tree hotel's rooftop bar, and I must say that she is an excellent waitress. She was very friendly, attentive, and went out of her way to ensure that our experience at the bar was enjoyable.

Yamuna was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations on food and drinks, which we thoroughly enjoyed. She was always on hand to refill our drinks, and we never felt neglected during our time at the bar.

Overall, Yamuna's excellent service contributed significantly to our enjoyable experience at the Eco Tree hotel's rooftop bar. I highly recommend this bar to anyone visiting Melaka, and I encourage you to seek out Yamuna's service...
