I had a wonderful dining experience at Restaurant D' Tandoori House. From the moment I stepped in, everything exceeded my expectations.
🍽️ Food (5/5):
The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. I ordered the Chicken Tandoori, Butter Chicken, Paneer Tikka, and Garlic Naan — all cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and full of traditional spices without being overpowering. The meat was juicy and tender, while the vegetarian dishes were creamy and satisfying. Everything was served fresh and hot.
🧑🍳 Service (5/5):
The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive throughout. They welcomed us warmly and were very helpful with suggestions. Our order was served promptly, and they checked on us regularly without being intrusive. It felt like they genuinely cared about customer satisfaction.
🌟 Atmosphere (5/5):
The restaurant has a calm and comfortable ambiance. It was neat, well-lit, and nicely decorated with Indian-themed elements that enhance the cultural feel. Soft music and a peaceful vibe made it a great place to enjoy a meal and relax.
🍛 Meal: Dinner
I visited for dinner and spent a peaceful evening enjoying flavorful Indian cuisine.
💰 Price Range: RM 20–40 per person
The pricing is very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food. Great value for money!

Read moreWent there for dinner with family. The food was ok. We ordered prawn briyani, prawn masala, palak paneer, mutton biryani, Shami chicken kebab, two white rice and salted lassi. Prawn masala and prawn briyani was nice. Mutton biryani was below average with 3-4 mutton pieces. Shami chicken kebab was more like chicken begedil/ cutlet rather than kebab and it was salty. Was still tolerable to eat with rice however their salted lassi spoilt my whole mood. It was more like salty lassi. Extremely salty!! And we had to returned it upon giving feedback. We said we don't want it and so the Indian waitress girl took it back. We had two short sips, one sip my husband and he told me to try it and one short sip, I spit it out because it felt like drinking salty water to gargle. Upon paying, we were charged for it saying that we drank half of it and returned it. I told the girl you took it and you saw the amount. We didn't drink it to half glass and she told us her boss asked to charge for the salty lassi that we didn't even enjoy. I was taken aback and told her to call him but then she said she will deduct the rm5 charged for lassi. That was their poor service that made us feel we will never return to the shop even if it was the last shop opened. It wasn't about rm5 but more of ethics. You charge your customer accordingly! The least you could do when you served something distasteful is you don't charge for it even if you...

I had tasted some of the best northern Indian dishes as an expat in London (which has an array of amazing Indian takeaways and restaurants). Having returned to Malaysia a year ago, D Tandoori House was our first experience of the kind of Indian food we had enjoyed - and it truly didn't disappoint! Please give its Tandoori chicken a try, about 4 pcs of diff parts of chicken per serving, spiced just right and served with a delicious mint sauce. The naans were freshly prepared (we tried the plain and garlic ones) and had a beautiful aroma and texture. The lamb rogan gosh was a bit of a hit and miss with the gravy as I was used to the gravy being made with lots of fresh tomato. The one at D Tandoori House was sweet, thicker and no/little tomato used. Having said that, the lamb cutlets were very juicy and tender, so we still enjoyed the dish. We also tried the sag aloo - the spinach was creamy and had generous portions of goat cheese in it. The onion bhajjis tasted good but did not look like a 'pakora' but more like onion rings. Perhaps not the best northern indian meal I had tasted, however, this restaurant had made most of the dishes we ordered, very well and for great value. It was fully airconditioned and decorated simply enough to allow its patrons to enjoy the food in a...
