Foods are very satisfying especially the fish and pasta. I deduct one star is because for IHG member I know how it’s work and not the first time using it, Mr Fauzi told me I can’t enjoy the GC member after using my cash voucher, he can’t show my any black and white of Terms and Condition but he insisted. Is fine I’m pay for it but he challenge me where I have been using.I have been using it that’s why I curious why you don’t let me used my member benefits. Too much of communication breakdown and I really don’t happy with his respond. Is not about the price is about I have the right to have my benefits. After this I immediately email to clarified with IHG GC person but due to holidays no replied even her WhatsApp however surprisingly Holiday Inn Melaka email has responded to my email promptly and MrZulkarnain answered my queries promptly and he mentioned im entitled. TO IHG KL you really need to improve and learn from Holiday Inn Melaka. Lastly, thank you Mr Zulkarnain for your patience and...

The ambiance was nice but the food was fairly generic unfortunately. The vegetable pizza my fiancé and I ordered tasted as if it were frozen before being served and the linguini was also fairly plain.

Our biggest disappointment however came from when we asked for a bottle of house red wine. Despite us asking for this, we were presented with options for which red we’d like, thinking they were just variations of the same house red option (but primarily, price). To our dismay, when we received our bill, we saw we were charged for the “Italian” house option, despite not being explained the difference of cost between the two ($28 USD compared to $40 USD).

We were given a dessert as an apology but would’ve preferred a refund of the difference as the dessert served more of an acknowledgement of their mistake as opposed to a friendly gesture.

In case you visit and come across the same “choice”, make sure you don’t choose the Chianti option in the event you’d rather have the more...

YIKES. What a mess this place is. 100% do not recommend. 1- the pizza tastes bland and similar to a frozen pizza. We got the vegetable one and it was pretty disappointing. 2- service is subpar. We had to flag down the waiters multiple times. 3- we waited to get a plate and when they came back they gave us just one plate so we had to ask for another one. 4- this is the BIGGEST disappointment and red flag- we ordered house wine and they told us they have two options. We chose the Italian. When the check came it was 45$ over the house price. We asked about this and they said they have two options. THIS WAS NEVER MENTIONED! We asked for house red- why are we given a more expensive option???

We were given a cake due to the mistake but would have appreciated money back as we ordered the house wine but got charged for a more expensive option.

Seriously disappointed and feel cheated from our...

In a quiet corner of the Holiday Inn has this unassuming Italian restaurant. The mushroom / truffle pizza is interesting to whet the Appetite. Try the pasta alla Sirocco, with an egg on top of a rich tomato broth of seafood. I was hesitant with the mention of an egg here but turns out quite nicely. The fish - whichever takes your fancy - is always very well cooked and presented simply. Usually quiet, with reasonable prices - highly recommended.

One of the mainstay Italian restaurant in the city. Good portions. Good pricing. Good service. Authentic and tasty as always. Should be supported. With the covid shutting down many hotels, malaccans may soon face an existential question not quite unlike the 1980s whereby for any decent exposure to good, tasty choice western meals (apart from cafes) everyone had to run to KL or other major big towns.
