TWS - Melaka Raya (The Windmill Station) — Restaurant in Malacca

Very, very, very bad service. I was spending my holiday in Melaka and was utterly disapointed. I've travelled 35km from my hotel to try the "famous" TWS. I entered the restaurant at 9.00pm with my wife and two kids. The youngest was 3 month old in the stroller. For 10-15min, not a single staff come and approach us to entertain us. There were lot of peoples of course, and we just stood there in the center like an idiot, waiting for any available seat / table. Frustated, so we just left and decided to try another restaurant. If you are not taking any more customers, just politely inform us. No one respond to our call like they are the most busiest restaurant in Melaka. Even kedai mamak has 100x better service than TWS. Very bad. Not recommended. Indah...

Everything is good except for the food. Very pricey; was expecting something extra for the price but food was blend a d dry sorry really not good.

Chicken and lamb was very dry and blend. Portion was ok. Spaghetti carbonara with cchop was not up to my taste, no taste and chicken no flavor was also a little undercooked. Nasi lemak ayam pandan was rm25 but really nothing special. Ayam dry sambal really spicy. Rice was dry too.

Their sides are always the best (or I’m just lucky enough that every time I ate, it always tasted so good). Had their all time fav nasi goreng nenas with fish. And tried their nasi pandan and fish with chili crab sauce (something like that can’t remember the exact name), both tasted great! For ramadhan, they even gave free kurma and some kueh.

Tbh, this would be a great place for family gathering. Their indoor sitting are suitable for those who have small kids cause their setting are not too crowded. Kids can easily...
