Signature Claypot Cuisine — Restaurant in Malacca

Overall decent and quite reasonably priced, but not quite to our liking. Dishes were all served in claypot which probably takes some time to cook, so be prepared to wait for a good 20-30min. Was disappointed that other customers with larger groups were served keropok but not us. It was even included in the bill, though they removed it in the end after we told them it wasn't served.

Wanted to try the nyonya pongteh pork, but wasn't available so we had the red date and mushroom pork instead. Taste was ok but unlike pork belly where there is mixed fat and meat layer, this was just thick layer of fat and thick layer of meat, separated. Meat itself was not very tender.

Taste wise, super recommend their porridge. It has taro, pumpkin, scallop, pork belly, 1000 century egg and salted egg. The seafood makes the dish decadent and pork belly creates the fullfilling taste. Overall texture was superb and not too thick 😃 super recommend😆✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

Steamed egg tofu is nice and silky, shrimp is fresh 🙌.

Their small portion enough for 2, i could say im super full right now. Their price is quite pricey compared to nearby food resto, but thats understandable😀 .

Overrated review on google. The first restaurant with high review that is super disappointing. Please don’t trust the review in this restaurant. Food: Fish not fresh, bad smell like put in the fridge for months. When we feedback to the cashier, not even bothered to understand more so they can improve. Her face shows surprise and unbelievable. The taste of the food is very ordinary. Portion considered small. Price: not reasonable for fish. I don’t find them honest because the fish served and charged seem to be heavier than its actual weight. The fish look like 900g but were charged 1.2kg.
