MOODY Cafe — Restaurant in Perak

Food is your classic esthetics style cafe. I like the taste of the lotus cheesetart, BUT the cheese is still hard solid, making it impossible to use the fork. Just use the hand. The mango smoothie, on the other hand, is quite refreshing. The first impression is that the mango color kinda weird, but after a sip, it is actually nice! A little rose gives a lovely fragrance to it (just don't eat that little fella). Service in this shop was kind of slow, and it took around 15 minutes for food and drinks to arrive. They don't even make the food, it already displayed. They just need to take it and send it. The smoothie I can understand why it is late, but the ice does not even crunch fully. The food was very good. But the customer service was quite disappointing. I am not sure if the service crew are well trained or experienced but they could’ve done better. I bought a flavoured iced latte and I forgot to bring it with me when I get out of the cafe. Nonetheless, I was only 10 steps out and immediately ran back to get my drink but they told me they had already discarded my drink. I only had 2 sips and the drink wasn’t even 3/4 finished. Not even an apology, or an offer for new drink (which I doubt will be given anyway). They could’ve waited for a bit because the drink was left almost full in a good condition . I want everyone in Ipoh and Malaysia to know that this makes THE BEST - THE BEST chocolate croffles. Allow me to elaborate.

Every cafe in KL, KELANTAN and PENANG offers waffles / desserts / croffles that are too rich and SO overloaded with flavours, it almost feels like WWIII happening in your mouth.

MOODY’s chocolate croffle invites you to go on a journey. Each bite is harmonious, smooth and delicious, a symphony of unity in crunch, crumble and melt washed down with a smooth double shot - which reminds me to tell you their coffee is one of smoothest drinks in my history of cafe hopping.
